Original BudKups, Loading Capsules for PAX2 and PAX3, Screen Alternatives (3-Pack)

Budkups are awesome. There is some room for user error though: if you pack these really tightly like a brick or don’t put enough in then you’re not doing it right, and you’re going to suck on air. I’ve had the most success filling it all the way, and gently tapping more in. Once you get that, you can pack all your kups in advance and use them whenever you want. And I think these help keep my pax oven so much cleaner. Definitely a great convenience accessory.

I ordered these for my Pax 3 to try to see what the hype was about, in spite of skeptical reviews. Truth is, the convenience and portability of the BudKups is more than worth the money! The product shipped days faster than I thought it would, and I didn't have any trouble with air flow, like other reviewers were having with these in their Pax 3. Mine fit snuggly into the chamber, and worked great! I definitely will buy again, because I love being able to pre-pack them all at once and use them whenever I want on the go!!

Small but mighty! Didn't have super high expectations because of some of the other (bad) reviews, but I have no complaints. You get a little bit less vapor than without one, but still a great experience.It's awesome being able to pack 3 at once and have them for later or take them out with you instead of grinding, packing, vaping, dumping, cleaning the pax, and reloading each time. They get really hot and heat all the material all the way through. Just be careful when you go to take it out.

03/16/2018 UPDATE: BudKups has addressed the flaw in their 2nd version. They have assured me the 3rd version will have a larger indented lid to provide a snug fit to create a better seal. They have also sent me 6 replacement cups. Thanks BudKups for the excellent customer service! Changing my 4* review to 5*.I rarely review products but I feel like I must warn potential buyers. There are 2 versions of BudKups. The older version with a "smooth" lid and a new version with a "indented" lid.I use them in a Pax3. The older version works well and hits well. The smooth lid is large enough to fit snug in the oven, forming a decent seal. Which means the draw forces most of the air through the holes and producing good vapor. It reduces the draw resistance to a comfortable level. It works best on level 3-4 and takes a little while to heat up. The Pax will go green but it's not ready yet, let it sit for another minute so the BudKup itself starts to heat up. Once it starts to hit good it stays good for 10-20 draws.My first 3 pack order I received the older smooth lid. I loved them so much I ordered another 6.The 6 I got were the newer version with the "ridged" lid. These are absolutely TERRIBLE. The lid is smaller than the over and fails to form any sort of seal. If you shake the Pax3, you can HEAR it rattle in the oven. This is most likely where all the negative reviews of bad hits and rattle are coming from. Since it doesn't form a good seal, most of the air goes AROUND the BudKup instead of through the holes. They also take MUCH longer to heat up than the smooth lids. The rattle means there's an even bigger cushion of air around the cup insulating it from the heat.I really feel like BudKups took a step back when trying to improve their product. They instead made it much much worse. If you order, PRAY that you get the older version with the "Smooth" lid. I have attached a picture of the newer lids with the indent.

I liked the concept of these bud cups easy to empty and reload I must say it hits so much better now than before.. to the point I use my pax more often

I just received a 3 pack of BudKups, v.2. The package came from Amazon with a thank you for ordering card and a Budkup v.3, free of charge. The best part is that while they both worked, the head to head comparisons revealed that the v.3!version out performs the v.2 significantly. The three drama nicer, has a better seal around the BudKup caps. This in turn provides a better draw of the vapes, and the slightly greater capicity provides for more session time / larger volume of vapors, and more of them. This is definitely a better product. I have two PAX3’s one for high test and one for medicinal herbs. The BudKups Accessory kit is a crazy good deal. provides all of the go gear to make it a convenient and smoking good deal! Im pretty sure some of the reviews were for an earlier version because i would definitely buy again! The ones I received had a flat lid and worked pretty well. There's slightly less vapor than without, but they still get the job done! I think its worth it to be able to fill them in advance to use when Im not at home. Overall, solid purchase!!
