These are the perfect stretch jeans! I am short and have to hem a significant amount of fabric off, but overall, they fit wonderfully. They’re comfortable, and high waisted which helps contain, or more so smooth out my belly! They do have a different smell, but it isn’t unpleasant to me. It’s not a chemical smell, but just a textile-type smell and washing them should take care of it. Give them a try!

I love the comfort of the stretch, especially in the waist. They are really flattering and help shape your waist. I did find that after a few hours of wear, I was wanting to get out of them. I would order the next size up except for the length. I ordered the 29" length. I am 5'3" tall and I had to wear a pretty high wedge shoe for them to not drag. I really like to wear a flat shoe with jeans so I will not be ordering more. If you are taller then these might work for you. Good quality, good price. But if I have to pay to shorten them, they are no longer a good price. I may decide to cut a couple inches off these and fray the bottom edge.

I know: I had you at "bell bottoms."I wanted a comfortable pair of pants that are suitable for casual wear. I didn't really want to buy cotton jeans, because they always present a "How much will they shrink in the wash?" mystery. Plus, I was bound and determined to find bell bottoms, because in my heart they are the perfect style. Why yes, I AM a child of the 60s and 70s, how could you tell?I'm REALLY glad I bought these.These pants are stretchy and comfortable, enough so that they are comparable to yoga pants. I like the fit. It's figure-fitting without being or looking tight. And, of course, it has those marvelousssss bell bottoms.The high waist that looks a little odd in the photo works better in person, where it has a snug "hug your tummy" feel and perhaps makes me look just slightly slimmer. The pockets are... serviceable. You could pry a cell phone in, but they are not big enough for anything to rattle around.I'm short (5'1"), so I ordered them with a 29" inseam. They're a little long, enough so that I wear them with clogs, but I'm used to that.Did I mention that I LOOK GOOD? Because I do. I'm exceedingly happy with these jeans.

ETA: Customer service was super friendly and helpful and sent me a new pair. Chemical smell faded after one week which is a big improvement from my first pair.I fell in love with the fit of these when I bought them. I love the stretch, the flare, the lack of button & zipper, and the height of the waist.BUT....They had a TERRIBLE chemical smell that lasted several washes, but I just dealt with it. I had read about this in previous reviews so I was prepared.One thing that bothered me from the get-go was that the bottom seam would always flip up, no matter what.Now that I've had them for four months, I'm needing to replace them which bums me out.I'm a thighs-touch girlie and the thigh area is so incredibly worn already. This usually takes at least a year with other pants.These already have several little holes; they snag easily. This isn't a huge deal-breaker for me but it is certainly a little disappointing.*I still love the way these fit, the amount of flare, and how comfortable they are, but I wish they would hold up for much longer. For the almost $40, these should last way longer than 4 months.

I was skeptic when I ordered these but I love them. Very comfortable and fit great. I’m 5’7” and 185lbs. The XL with 31 inch inseam fit perfectly. Also love that they have pockets!

These jeans fit so well and are quite stylish! The material is thick but not hot feeling like some jeans! I ordered two pairs the 1st time and ordered a 3rd pair the 2nd time because I loved the jeans so much!I was hesitant because of the reviews regarding smell. Yes there is an order but over time the order disappears.I highly recommend!

So cute and comfortable but has an overwhelming moth ball kind of smell after MANY washes. Will likely not be wearing anymore bc the smell won't go away.
