The camera picture looked fine but it had to be kept plugged into the wifi route. It was deemed a defect by the tech because it's suppose to be wireless. I will try another from them since the techs was very supportive. Update : This is the best on the market. I had to buy another. One for the front of the house and the other for the back of the house.

bought this in jan. 2018 it is now march 2018 and it stopped working. the return button on amazon is not there so i assume the return period is over, $149.00 down the drain.

Check the box inventory carefully!
It would probably have been a good item based on other reviews, but it didn't come with an installation CD so I had to send it back.
