Q: Are there ball bearings in this caster?

Sir, there are bearings between the mount and the wheel case, but not between the wheel and the wheel case !!!

Q: Do these work on Trinity shelves

They will work if you have a flat bottom foot to screw or bolt the castor to and the weight Of the shelf is less than 50 lbs

Q: Where are these made?

I'm not sure my guess is overseas, I have ordered them twice I have received good ship times and the casters are well made.

Q: How well do these roll on carpet?

They roll well on a regular broadloom carpet. I do not think they would work on shag. Also, the 2 inch size is small for furniture so if you had something heavier, it might sink in more than the boxes I have put them on.
