Farway Laser Distance Meter is well made and ready to use, batteries are included. There is also a nice carrying case and wrist strap in the box. Once you learn how to use the device, you get quick, accurate readings. It's lightweight and the batteries last a long time. The face is easy to read, the numbers large and bright. A nice little digital measuring device.

Works well in an average sized home situation
I used this when planning furniture placement in a new rental house. It was quicker and easier than the tape measure and more accurate. Keeping this around for a while. Would like a way to lower the volume on the beep.
