Good quality oak but hardware nees to be machined better.
Nice but a pain to assemble, screws were extremely tight and felt like they would strip before installing / seating properly. The design is engineered to tighten the whole chair but the corner screws felt like they would strip or shear off. Install took the better part of an hour with a small hex key.

These chairs are so well made! They are solid oak, no veneers, and so sturdy. They come in manageable pieces that are easy to put together. We will use them for years and probably hand them down to our kids. They resemble craftmanship of years gone by. We love them!
