These were a little bit smaller than I expected but in a way, that's a good thing. If you want to take them camping or take them in a boat they don't take up as much space. It's easier to put them in a protective tote or something. Other than that I'm pretty happy with these.

The dual light setting and multiple timer hours make this a wonderful product. Appears to be put together well. Will know better at seasons end. Very satisfied. Actually bought another set.

Oh, I really do love these two LED lanterns! We were needing some new lighting out on our patio, so I looked for awhile and then finally stumbled across this set of battery operated lanterns. These are made with fine grade material, not cheap or flimsy whatsoever. The lanterns do require 3 "C" batteries PER lantern, which is not really an issue for me. These lanterns give off a rustic vibe, one i'm highly favorable towards.You can either hang these lanterns or they can stand alone on a desk, table or what not. I appreciate those options. The "caged" look is really rather classy in my opinion. Seems so dated, but to a time period when these were fervently used by people. Below, I will list the main reasons this lantern stood out amongst the others.*Design: great handle to carry around - making it portable. Caged look is classy and this design works well with providing an abundance of light based on the design*DUSK to DAWN lantern-3 timer settings-3 brightness levels*Power source: Battery powered using (3) C batteries PER lantern (also they are NOT included)*dimensions for your reference: 6.1 x 6.1 x 8.6 inches and a weight of one poundOverall, I would have to say that these are definitely quality made lanterns. I did not find any sort of defect or flaw that would change that opinion. They are very solid and sturdy. The lanterns give such a nice warmth to our patio in the evenings. I'm for sure happy about the performance of these two lanterns. Well made and durable. I do recommend these based on my personal usage of these lanterns for my patio. I wanted battery powered lanterns to have on hand in the event of a middle of the night power outage or other similar situation. I had been searching for awhile when I came across these, I really liked the look of these so I decided to get them. They don't have a traditional camping lantern look to them, they have more of an industrial/rustic which I love. The pictures are accurate and they arrived undamaged. The finish didn't have chips, cracks or rough spots. The wire cage around the bulb wasn't bent or misshapen. They feel very sturdy and well made. These aren't spot light bright but they are adequate enough for lighting up the area around you and providing a light source in a dark room/area. There is a timer and they do have three different light settings which I really liked. It's winter here now but I can see them providing an ambient light that's just right for sitting outside in the evenings in the warmer months. They do take three C batteries per lantern which wasn't an issue for me, we tend to have them on hand for other things. Overall, these look really nice and do their job well, very happy with them.

These are very nicely made powder-coated steel lanterns that have a heavy, quality feel and look to them. They take 3x C batteries. There is a light sensor to turn the light on at dusk. There are settings for the duration (4, 6, or 8 hours) and for the light intensity (low, medium, or high). I don't know how many nights the batteries will last but I've been running one for a week and so far they're doing fine.The batteries, electronics, and bulb are a single assembly that pulls out of the top of the light. It fits tightly and could be easier to do. Unfortunately, you have to take it out anytime you need to change the batteries or settings. I could imagine damaging the light when removing this assembly if you aren't careful.
