Comprehensive Health Insurance: Billing, Coding, and Reimbursement

Material is great with lots of examples/practice questions. I wish there were answers. The book was purchased in used condition, but it is just like new - no markings/highlights.

I'm a student and the books I have read like stereo instructions and they don't tell you the things you really need to know. This book is easy to ead and it has everything you need to supplement your learning. I'm so glad I found this book.

I work for an endoscopy center as an insurance verifier and claims processor... I had not been working in the medical field for years prior to my current position so to say the least, I was very rusty with my skills... this book brought me up to speed and is perfect for initial learners as well as for previous medical workers needing a refresher!

Reading material was easy to follow but the assignments need an answer guide.

This has been a wonderful asset in school. The school gave us the book, but did not think we needed the workbook. The teacher has been photocopying the workbook as we review each chapter for us to practice with. Now I can do my own instead of waiting for the copies. I recommend this to all students taking the class, in any school.

I work for a HMO I have been working on the marketing side. I needed a book to help me understand the claims and encounter portion. This book helped me more than I ever expected it to. I can now sit through meetings with subject matter experts and understand what is being discussed.

I was happy to rent the book. I just wish we could rent it again

This book is very thorough and easily understood for anyone looking for more information about insurance and medical claims or billing. However, it does not give the answers to the questions which makes half the book useless, unless you want to pay more money for an answer key. Also, it will not let me download on more than one device. So now I can only read it on my Kindle and not my laptop or phone unless I buy another copy. How desperate are these people for money? The hundred dollars I paid already was not enough? Most of the information in this book you can google for free anyway.
