The Canyonlands National Park is one of the least accessible and roughest National Parks in the USA. From the viewpoint the observer only sees a little of the incredible landscape the Colorado has created a few hundred feet below in the canyon. The White Rim is a rock edge on which the minerals containing iron are already washed out and the erosion has left a steep white canyon brink. Our tour leads us down to the first of three rock plateaus, where only a few people ever go and the terrain is difficult and dangerous. We follow the White Rim Trail and over numerous little obstacles, hills, washes, and dips. There is no road and sometimes one can only guess where the trail is. Nevertheless, this is an endurance stretch with the claim to being something special, riding only feet away from an edge of a 1967 ft deep gorge. Distance: approx. 50 km Length: 225 Minutes for Ergometer, Indoorcycles and also for Crosstrainer
