This was the first purchase when I moved to my new place, I love it so much and it always gets comments.

My son decided to de ornate his room. He is very happy with his purchase.

There are other lamps with a similar style that are more expensive. This being the cheapest option, it definitely shows in it's appearance. In person it looks quite cheap. The light is also brighter than I was hoping for. I wanted more of a strong, warm, glow but, it is quite bright. I believe this is because the bulbs underneath are low in placement. Had the bulbs been place up a little higher into the shade (or mushroom cap), I think the orange glow would have been more dynamic. Also, since the bulbs are placed low, you have to display the lamp on a surface that is lower than your eye line. If you place the lamp on a table or shelf that is higher than your eye line, you will see the bulbs underneath and this will ruin the illusion of a glowing mushroom type lamp. The bulbs are also quite unique, I'm not sure how I would ever replace these bulbs once they're out. I've never seen bulbs like this before.It works fine otherwise, just expect it to look like cheap plastic, and prepare to display it on a low surface.
