Paramedic's Review
This thing rocks. I work as a paramedic and sometimes our $15,000 monitor decides to act like it's from dollar tree. I use this in conjunction w our monitor and it is a life saver. Why this thing is so awesome:1. Bluetooth - absolute game changer for me. not only can you save recordings for later but the connection is seamless. open the app and it instantly connects with no fuss. since i'm usually sitting behind the patient I can monitor the oxygen saturation and waveform with my phone sitting up and not have to constantly look at their finger2. Plethysmograph - the waveform shown on the screen allows to help verify the accuracy of the readings. A smooth, consistent waveform usually means a good reading. Also pleth waves coincide with mechanical output of the heart so I can see things on it like irregular heart rhythms (for example afib)3. the screen flips - first of all the device off by itself when you put the finger out which i think is awesome bc i never have to worry about leaving it on but once it is on and on a finger pushing the power button actually rotates the screen. so if you're taking readings from the side or front you can turn it whatever way you want4. perfusion index - another way to help verify accuracy. perfusion index generally falls between 0.3 and 10. low number usually means poor blood circulation like cold fingers, low blood pressure, etc.I find the oximetry readings and pleth waves to be very accurate when compared to our $15k monitor. The reading and heart rate shows the same on both. The heart rate even seems to show the same as our cardiac monitor with electrodes.I like that it comes w a lanyard and place to attach. I also bought a case for it off Amazon.--The bad: the respiratory rate is not accurate. I'm assuming it is calculating respiratory rate by using algorithms to calculate respiratory activity based on changes in the pleth. This device tends to way overshoot legitimate respiratory rate. It may say respiratory rate is 34 when it is really 12. I do not trust it what so ever. If you're trying to actually calculate respiratory rate try out an app like MedTimer.Overall I love it. 10/10. Reliable. App is wonderful. Was so worth buying a more expensive one over a super cheap one.

Very cool little device
I have regular heart problems so I have several devices I use to keep an eye on my general health when I’m not feeling well. This has quickly become one of my favorites. When comparing to my other devices it’s accurate and I love the app that it connects to so that you can watch the readings real time. The App Store reviews are bad but I think it might be from the age group using these devices are not tech savvy because I found it very cool and easy to use.I also like that it comes with a tether so that I can tether it around my wrist at night so that if it falls off I don’t lose it.Great device and would highly recommend 10/10

Great quality and works great
Great price for the quality of the product and runs accurately. I use this to track my heart rate as I have SVT and my rate runs high. This is small enough to carry in my purse and works amazing

Great Medical Device for Screening
The media could not be loaded. With the number of viruses around that affect the lungs/respiratory system having a Blood Oxygen Monitor on hand to screen how well your lungs are functioning is essential. After all, when you go to any medical appointment these days not only to, they take your Blood Pressure (BP) and Temperature but they also take a Blood Oxygen Reading. Now like your BP and Temperature you can also now take your Blood Oxygen Reading. Sure, my smart watch and phone can also take this reading, but can you trust it? Now you get a medical grade blood oxygen reading at home. These devices come in large price range and the choice boils down to how many extra things do you want it to do. The main reason I went with this one (at the higher end of the price range) was so I could blue tooth the results to my phone and MORE IMPORTANTLY RECORD THEM to show them later to medical professional if need be. Another thing I really liked (which you never know until you get it) is that this device works (begins giving you readings on the device) as soon as you install the batteries and stick it on your finger. Then they give you a quick start guide to quickly get it connected to your phone. Finally, when you are ready for it, they give you well written detailed instructions on the complete use of the device. I feel better having this device in my home and am quite pleased how well it works and how easy it was to set up.
