Cross & Glory - Sunrise Surf - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults | Vibrant Beach Scene Artwork | Unique Gift Idea

I bought this to try as I liked the look of the picture - some tricky looking beach and sky sections and some colourful surfboards. The puzzle was packaged well, although the pieces looked a bit thinner than I am used to with other jigsaws. I needn't have worried and the pieces were strong - no pieces were bent or broken and there was no dust - and the pieces fitted together well with no false-fits that I discovered. I am going to check out their other puzzles now.

Until recently, I hadn't done a jigsaw for 60 years(!), and resisted joining all my friends in taking up jigsaws during the pandemic as I thought they were a bit pointless and time-wasting. How wrong could I be! For us oldies, jigsaw puzzles improve memory and thought processes, and are also therapeutic and relaxing. This is the third jigsaw I have bought this month - and I'm completely hooked!This one is a lovely bright beach scene with striking colours - just what I need at this gloomy time of year! I don't have much to compare it with, especially as the last jigsaw I did was wooden, but the quality seems really good: although quite thin, the pieces are strong and fit together well, and I like the satin finish which minimises glare and dust. And I particularly like the ethos of Cross & Glory: their commitment to sustainability, using eco-friendly, non-toxic, recycled materials.I've made a start on my "Vibrant Beach Scene Artwork" and become totally absorbed - the sky and beach are definitely going to give me a good brain workout!The price seems reasonable for a puzzle of this quality, and it would make a lovely gift for beach lovers, and particularly for surfers - I already have a few friends in mind!

I love cross and glory puzzles , but, this one was disappointing

If you're the kind of person that likes to spend hours haphazardly fitting together pieces of endless blue sky in the hopes of finding a match, then this puzzle will suit you perfectly. I prefer to have some clues, like in the style of the Hua Dada puzzles that have a letter behind each piece so you get a general idea of where each one is supposed to go.Also I found that one piece could fit in multiple locations, which left me even more baffled and frustrated.UPDATE: I now know why the blue sky annoyed me so much. I decided to complete the puzzle from the bottom up and was making good progress until there was a strip of blue sky left...I have thirteen blue pieces left and they don't fit in anywhere!

You fly through the first bit and then it is ridiculously difficult on the sand area.

I gifted this puzzle to my sister as I loved the image. However, as you can see in the photo there were missing pieces as well as lots of doubles. Disappointing.

The media could not be loaded.  The artwork is beautiful, and the quality & thickness of the pieces are a joy to work with. I have been making puzzles for 40 years and these are by far the best value for the money spent. And their replacement policy if you end up missing a piece is great, if you have a hungry vacuum cleaner that sucks one up, or playful kitties that try to help assemble the puzzle. The 1000 piece puzzles are a bit challenging, but doable with patience and time. I always look for this brand now for my next puzzle!

Ce casse-tête est vraiment super beau. Ni moi ni elle ne l'avons fait mais on va s'y mettre bientôt. Les couleurs sont vraiment belles.

Fun puzzle, great picture

Bought as a gift for a surfer and one who enjoys puzzles and they loved it!

Fun colors that sort of lead the way through this puzzle completion. No dust, the images were crisp and the paper didn't peel off. Tween enjoyed. This is my third Cross & Glory puzzle, and their quality is amazing.
