Super impressed with this Ickle Bubba isofix car seat. The packaging offers great protection and I was immediately struck by how robust the unit is. The video gave me very clear instructions on how to install this safely for my son and it was ready to go in a few minutes after familiarising ourselves with the design. I really liked the fact this comes with 2 free sun visors for the back windows and 2 additional side impact cushions. The seat in itself is very soft with a very good length on the shoulder straps (unlike some other brands I have bought from in the past). The pull cord mechanism for the 5 point harness is smooth and the magnetic clips do actually make a difference when strapping my son into the seat as I often have to deal with fiddly alignment issues as he wriggled around in previous seats. The adjustable seat position helps on longer journeys, but three of my favourite things are that a) the higher vantage point allows my son to see out the window and for me to keep an eye on him in my rear view mirror, b) the seatbelt clips are secure and convenient making the car seat easy to install and c) there is an extra safety buckle that swings over the back seat to secure the car seat to one of the hooks behind the rear seat with a signal that turns green when taught enough. This really helps give extra peace of mind as a parent. The only minor issue I would note is that the suede cover can be a magnet for crumbs. Overall, so far so good and I’d definitely recommend this product for other parents. It’s great value for 129 quid and seems to offer better features than other isofix brand alternatives that I researched before making the purchase.

This carseat is good, wouldn't say easy to put in or take out.Advantages this is easy to install. Go be honest the instructions are not too clear but there are youtube videos.Very sturdy and stays cool in the summer.The straps are annoying and hard to fit together. Also not best fit for kids with jackets. Straps are easy to come out.Otherwise its brilliant our Little sleeps well when the seat is adjusted.Otherwise this is a good car seat.

Really good seat little plasticky but solid.I have had to hunt high and low for a car seat for group1+ that will fit in an audi tt and this fits lovely, you have to put it in threw the boot with 1 back seat down but one in is fine. It's not too heavy you cant take it in and out. For a tt it takes up no extra space than the seat base so leg space isnt compromised further than already is from audi.This review might not mean much to some but those with cars like the tt and trying to find items like car seats I hope it does help.Over all it's a good product the only downside is the actual back angle of this seat cant tilt (the child seat part can tilt) so if the seat you want to fit this to dosnt or cant have the back made to be at 90 degrees to the seat base you may find the child seat will pull up at the front or leave a gap at the back and cause the child seat to rock. Depending on your car you might still be ok but to be safe needs the back of your seat to be upright for this to fit nicely.

I bought 2 for my grandchildren very easy to install thick padding for comfort.

I bought this car seat for my granddaughter who is two. The seat has ISOfix clamps and a top tether strap so it is easy to fit and is secure when fitted. Because the seat has a reclining feature it does make the back of the seat quite deep therefore meaning that the distance between the child seat and the back of the front seat can be short if the car is small. I have a larger estate car so this isn't a problem, just be aware it could be.Otherwise the seat is comfortable, secure and feels safe to hold the little one. Overall I am pleased with it.

I read and watched lots of reviews about this seat and was convinced that it would be a great car seat to last my daughter until she hit 12. The only thing I found frustrating was that I couldn't find anything anywhere to tell me whether this seat would be compatible with my car. In the end I figured it must be ok because I have isofix and tether points, and a pretty standard family car. However after correctly fitting it, I realised that the base of the car seat was not sitting on the chair but had pivoted up due to the tension on the top tether. If I released the tension then the base would sit flush to the seat but there was a massive gap between the backrest and the frame of the car seat, and the tether strap showed red (not enough tension). Basically, this car seat sits on a 90 degree frame but my car (& indeed most cars) have a seat recline greater than 90 degrees. Suffice it to say this car seat is not safe to use with a 2010 model Ford C-Max. It's a shame though because all the other features were great. I love the magnetic seat belt holders for ease of getting your child into the seat, and the harness was easy to fasten, the material really nice and the recline feature a bonus. My advice? Try before you buy where possible to be certain it fits. If it fits your car then it should be great! If not, it's simply not safe.
