DJ Lighting T-Bar Extension Cross Bar Mount for Tripod Speaker Stand

Awesome lighting attachment. Fit my speaker stand perfect. Feels well built and solid. Magnetic mounts for my fixtures and accessories hold well to the steel beams. The price was great for how nice the mount is. Looks like it will be part of my rig for a long time.

Inexpensive, road-sturdy and does the job.

Have not put them to the test yet just got em today. I ordered 2 of these because the competition only offers 31.25in long and these are 35in long and hold up to 66 lbs. the kool thing is that these T bars fold which make them easy for storage. Comes with hardware and ready to be use. Highly recommend them.

I upgraded my speaker stands so I had two old ones sitting around doing nothing. I bought one of these (and later bought another) to be able to use them as light stands.They work fine overall. I've hung round par lights and derby lights (Chauvet Kinta HP) from it, so nothing heavy, but it supports them fine.The reason I took off one star is because it's more wobbly/unstable than a dedicated t-bar connection. It uses a single screw to tighten to the speaker stand, and that screw is in the same plane as the t-bar (and more importantly, as the lights). So it is not a "locked down immobile" connection. When I hang a light from one side the t-bar will lean from the weight until I counterbalance it by hanging a light from the other side and straightening it.The other limitation is that you're limited to the height of your speaker stands. In general speaker stands don't go as high as light stands do so that can be a limitation in situations where the stands will be on audience level or behind a performer or other things. So even though I ended up buying a second one, I would recommend thinking hard about whether the height is an issue when deciding between buying one of these or buying a dedicated light stand that can go taller.

The bolts are a little long but the bar works as should.
