Nutrim® 60 Serving Success Kit - Oat Beta Glucans Help to Lower Cholesterol Naturally

My Dr. wanted to give my cholesterol meds because my cholesterol was 224. I told him I would try something natural first. after 4 months my cholesterol dropped to 195. afet another 4 month is dropped to185. I've been using it for 3 years now. cholesterol still at 185. I tell everyone to use this instead of medications with side effects. My one friend told her Dr. she wanted to use this the Dr. said, oh no it is not FDA approved! ..so my friend continues to use the med sand her cholesterol is still HIGH!.

I don't like the fact that you do not get a full container of Nutrim. When you shake it down you will find that all you have is half of what is supposed to be 8ozs. of the product. Put it in an 8oz. container.

Always interested in healthy contributions to my generally good health...and so added this product a this past year to my diet with inspiring results. With virtually no changes in anything on my dietary radar, I've lowered significantly my total and LDL levels! I still follow a daily workout routine - sometimes taking 1 day off each week, but was thrilled to see my numbers on my last blood test - thanks for a great product.

Used for high lol. Not much progress after use

I had a bit higher cholesterol values, than accepted. I was asked to take, Lipitor, (a statin), which I refused. instead I chose NUTRIM. I followed the directions and by my next blood work, four weeks later, I had managed to lower the cholesterol, by almost the normal count. I had not reached complete normal level, but acceptable. once more I was asked to take another statin, but half the strength.. however, I ordered another round of NUTRIM, which I am taking faithfully, every day, hoping to have a complete normal value next time...I feel that it has helped me. I have much less tinnitus, some days none.(i have heard one of the reasons for that is high cholesterol ) I have read up on the importance of healthy cholesterol levels by taking b-glucans and will probably keep doing so, even when my cholesterol levels are normal. I might add, that I have not followed a special diet, I eat lots of vegetables, and fish in all forms, even lightly fried sometimes (in little oil and a small pat of real butter(!) half an avocado almost every day and an apple a day, plus pineapple and berries with greek yogurt for breakfast. I am disabled and can't do much exercise, out over the therapy. I recommend NUTRIM.

I can't review it based on its claim to lower cholesterol yet because I just started taking it. As far as the powder goes, and being able to 'hide' it in foods, I would say it takes a little thought. I've found that a half scoop in a large cup of coffee works, provided I first put just a little coffee in and stir it hard with a fork until all the bumps are gone; then I add the rest of the hot coffee. I also hide it in yogurt, but again give it some hard stirring with a fork to get all the lumps dissolved - about a half scoop per yogurt is all you can safely hide. For health benefits I also add a big scoop of oat bran which gives the yogurt a nutty texture and helps hide the nutrim even better. Getting a second scoop in per day has been a challenge, but do-able I believe. If this works to lower me 40 points, it will be worth it. If not, it will have been an expensive challenge for nothing. I'll try to remember to come back in January 2018 after my next blood test and update this review with my results.

This product really worked for me! You can see the drastic dip in cholesterol (-60) when I was using the product for a little over a month. It has absolutely zero flavor so it didnt change the taste nor texture of my smoothies which is how I chose to ingest it. Shame on me for not continuing to use it because you can see the difference of not doing so in the counts that follow. My choosing not to had nothing to do with the product itself and everything to do with being able to stick to life-style changes. Looking at my numbers now I realize I need to get back to taking my health seriously again.
