This device stand is absolutely perfect in it's simplicity.Heavily weighted, unobtrusive footprint. Super adjustable flexible orientation. Super sturdy and stable. A black Friday promotion steal @ under $5, so I ordered extras for upstairs rooms.

I switched from an iphone with touch id (fingerprint authentication) to one with face id (facial recognition), so I needed a small stand that can hold my phone up. This way I do not have to touch the phone when facial recognition is needed.There are many stands in the market that take up either too much space or cost more than 10 dollars. When I came across this one, for $5-$8 (depending on color), I felt I had to take a chance. And this item significantly exceeded my expectations.Here's everything I like about it:- Well built. When I first took it out of the box, I immediately noticed how sturdy it is. The hinges are strong so that once you have set up the position, placing your phone onto the stand will NOT change its position. I absolutely love how well built and well designed it is.- Smooth turn. You can turn the base 360 degrees with the swivel mechanism at the base. It is very smooth to turn, and as you swivel the holder, there's clicking sound which immediately makes me think the bearing inside is good quality. Once the swivel clicks it holds its place. This is the "feature" that makes me think this is a quality product. My impression of the stand immediately levels up 2 levels.- Silicon padding. Your phone will never be scratched. Notice in one of the pictures how smooth and flat the padding is, such that when you place the phone on the stand, it almost creates a "suction" effect, because of how smooth it is. The phone kind of sticks to the padding not because of glue, but because of "suction". There is also silicon padding at the base so that the holder will not slip on most surfaces once it is sat down.- Small footprint. It can fit between the spaces in my dual monitor setup (see pictures). Perfect for my needs- Adjustable design. You can adjust height and angle of phone easily. Once those are set, phone will stay in place.- Great price. I can't believe this is only selling for $5-$8. It is such a great value I bought one for my coffee table.- Great gift for white elephant or christmas parties!Normally, with good products, I will still give them 4 stars if they are too pricey. But not in this case. I really cannot think of anything negative to say.Overall, this is a really great quality product at a great value. This is one of those products that is so well made I want to protect it. Kind of like, when I get my new phone, it's such a great product that in my mind it's a "prized possession". This stand, even though it's such a low cost product, is one that I consider a "prized possession". I don't want it to scratch my phone, but i also don't want my phone to scratch it!I hope they keep making it so I can buy more as needed in the future.
