This is exactly what I was looking for! I ordered this cover without any expectation that it would look as great in person as it does in the photos. Boy was I surprised when it arrived. This case is made very well. It's not paper thin and the padding extends through the spine. This item has a very stylish and professional profile. I needed a cover that provided a bit of style and durability to a device that I use everyday. Many of the cases I've seen are somewhat juvenile or looked just too rubberized for my taste. That's okay if its what you're looking for. But I need something that will allow my mini to fit in my purse along with all of the other items I carry around as a working mom. And many of the other cases which provide a more stylish look are just too expensive.The stitching is perfect all the way around. Not a stitch out of place, no sharp edges, no frayed edges, loose stitches, and the cut of the material is perfect. All of the switches, camera lens and ports are accessible without material impediments. However, I have to note that sometimes I use an aftermarket charger and there is some wiggling required to get a tight fit with the cover; but this isn't a deal breaker for me, I just have to be a little more attentive. I need covers for my gadgets to meet form and function requirements (they have to look like they belong to someone older than twelve, durable, and can't be a pain to use) and this one aced all areas. The case is durable and stylish in an understated way that retains the look of a more expensive item. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Thank Gd for pictures! I have been frustrated that it wouldn't "stand" and checked out the pictures and realized where the stand was. Overall, this is nice, particularly for the price. I love the wrist strap on these. My only issue is the hole where the jack goes for headphones, etc., is not quite cut correctly so I have to fuss and fuss to get jack in. Also, can't use finger ID because cutout for control a little too short. However, again, since I picked an unpopular color and it was reduced price, it's really a deal. Now, as always, how long will it last?

This is an excellent case that holds the iPad securely. The only reason I didn't rate five stars is that it does not have cutouts for the headphone jack or top and side buttons. If you use Bluetooth headphones all the time, then it doesn't matter. The buttons are not a big deal either since you can control most of the associated functions via soft controls in the OS. Still, from time-to-time, I do need access to the headphone jack. That being said, I would purchase this case again if needed.

Fits iPad mini first gen. perfect. Nicely made and a beautiful color. Covers edges of screen so there shouldn't be any damage if you drop it on its side. Light yet sturdy. Only complaint I would have is that I put in in the case before I in installed a screen protector and it marked up the screen. I can't remove the marks no matter what I tried to use. Definitely use with a screen protector if you want to be able to keep your screen free from any marks. Other than that, I would recommend this product.

Works well and is holding up to being tossed inside my book bag every day. Stays shut until you want it open. I'd give it 5 stars if it had a way to be held open easily with one hand. It has a loop that helps the left hand hold it open in the vertical position (or the right hand, if you don't mind turning the iPad around every time you switch hands). I use an old-fashioned low-tech rubber band to keep it open when holding it in one hand for an extended time.

Bought this for my husband and wasn't sure if he'd like it or not. He's very satisfied and keeps telling me how well it's made and how the stitching is even and tight. I don't think I could have bought any other one that I researched that would make him happier. The I Pad is a snug fit in the case, so there's no danger of it dropping out. The handle makes it easy to hang on to and the cover is soft but thick enough to give it some give in case you drop it. Definitely worth getting and better than any I've seen in a computer store.

This is a very nice looking folio case that fist my iPad Mini2 very well. Charging port and all controls are accessible without removing tablet form the case.. The main reason I got this one was the hand-strap on the cover that works well and makes on-handed reading much more secure. THe credit card pockets can't hold more than a couple business cards because they will hit the screen and prevent the folio from closing. Nice 3x5in pocket on the outside but no place to store a stylus.It has some space and minimal padding around the edges to prevent major damage if dropped, but this is not really a protective case.

I bought one of these Abestboxes for my first IPAD that I received as a Christmas gift back in 2012. This last Christmas (2016) I was given an upgrade IPAD and bought one of these for it.It is a nice case and has a nice carrying strap. However, I have noticed on this new one that the little punched out hole for the second microphone on the newer IPAD does not line up with the microphone and covers it.I don't know if that is a problem or not... no one has complained about not hearing me when I FaceTime, but I would have been happier with this if the hole lined up with the 2nd microphone and didn't cover it.
