Before I purchased this bat, my men's softball team was using a double-wall aluminum bat and a girl's fast-pitch composite bat in an ASA bat league--I know, I know, funny. Anyways, we could not produce offense to save our lives. We only have one dude who is a heavy hitter, the rest of us are dudes that you might consider line drive hitters but don't really have much power. Needless to say, we were getting shutdown every game because the ball would just die off of our bats, resulting in easy outs. Even our power hitter was not making it to the fence. Then I bought this bat after reading reviews on Amazon and various other bat websites. I got the 26oz bat because I am on the small side and need to get as much bat speed as possible to put some whip on the ball. Took it out to the batting cages and could immediately feel the difference swinging with this bat. The 26oz comes with a 1oz endload that I got use to quickly. Even not being the strongest dude, I am able to get the bat straight and true through the strike zone when hitting the ball even with an extra 1oz on the end of the barrel. The endload just guides and forces the bat through the ball, adding double/triple distance to hits that would have been shallow outfield singles. Really cool. And that's just on the first time using it!A couple things to know when swinging this bat:1) Hit on the sweet spot or your hands will pay for hit! Single piece composite, plenty of sting if you hit too low on the barrel.2) Gauze grip is meh. Wear gloves.3) Holy cow, you know when you hit the sweet spot on this thing. Lets loose an thunderous crack, the ball rockets off the bat and sails. Super rewarding.Anyways, our first game with the bat, my team put up the most runs we had all season! And our heavy hitter ended up with two jacks and a triple--he immediately fell in love with the bat and kept thanking me for buying/bringing it. Now with the bat in our arsenal, we are slowly becoming more competitive in our league, MOSTLY BECAUSE OF THIS BAT!If you play in an ASA league, the performance to value ratio on this bat is unbeatable. Perfect bat for the uninitiated or those that just started a team and are worried that it may disband. Get the equipment your team needs to be competitive without too much risk! AWESOME BAT!

Great bat for the price.
Great bat for beginners and for the price. I wish I would have bought the 28oz bat. The 27oz bat is good, I have used both, the 27oz and the 28oz bat, but the 28 feels just right. The balance of the bat feels great and it will send the ball ~20-25ft farther than the 27oz (Compare 14 homers with the 28 vs 6 with the 27 last season). The weight difference wont affect your swim, plus it is made for slow pitch, if you can't handle a 1oz difference you might as well get the 26oz.

No need to spend $300 on a bat
I ordered the 34" 28 oz version of the L6.0 for $119 with Prime shipping. This bat helped our team win the first game of the season. I'm 5'7" and 200lbs and I have no problem swinging the 28 oz bat (3 oz endload) In fact I like the slight heft on the end. It really helps guide your swing to put mass and momentum behind the ball. I had 3 at-bats in tonights game - one hit was a deep fly ball and the other two hits were hard grounders to the SS that he could not handle, and as a result I reached 1st base twice. Each at bat I hit the sweet spot solidly each time with absolutely no vibration with a ton of pop. My teammates were also crushing the ball with this bat. Had one with a triple that burned over the left fielders head and two others that hit the fence. There was at least a 10 mph wind tonight blowing inward, if it weren't for the wind those two hits would of been HR's. Let me just say there's no need to spend $300 on another bat when this L6.0 does the job π I also own a DeMarini F4 half and half bat and a Combat Avarice 98 bat and this Easton BY FAR blows the other two bats away! I highly recommend this bat for ASA play. You will not be dissappointed :) BTW we were hitting the .52 COR 300lb balls tonight :)

I love the way this bat looks but I could not get comfortable with using it.
I love the way this bat looks but I could not get comfortable with using it. The sweet spot is very hard to find and the top weighting seems to throw my swing off, making the bat contact the ball a bit lower than it should. The result is too many pop-fly balls. Not a happy camper. Went back to my old bat after 3 weeks of use.
