This case is very similar to the one that comes with the steam deck. Rigid with a felt like lining and allows my protective cover to stay on.

I was skeptical because almost NOBODY was offering cases for the Portal. This coming straight from China had me a bit worried, but when you think about it pretty much everything comes from China anyway so I figured I’d give it a whirl. It’s good! Portal fits perfectly and the materials are nice. Not a huge fan of the grey color but that’s just taste. The screen protector was a bonus that I didn’t really need. I put it on but honestly it’s not really the right size, but it works. Can’t complain much. While this is nice, I wish I would have waited because Skull and Co has their Portal case up for preorder now for $25.

This case was surprisingly great quality. Has a premium feel and I like the soft finish inside because I’m worried I’m going to destroy my portal. Shipping was very quick and the product honestly was better quality than I expected. Highly recommend it if your looking for a premium feel case for a great price.

Carrying case is built nicely and it fits the portal like a glove. It’s lined with a soft felt so you’d never have to worry about scratches.My only issue comes with the screen protector in which it doesn’t protect the entirety of the front display but just only the part of the screen that is visible when you turn it on.

The case is perfect. I have a skin on my portal. It still fits .. the screen glass is great. Be careful they since it in a bag delivered not good . Because my screen protector box was damaged. But screen was ok .. so check immediately

I bought this mostly to protect the joysticks when traveling.There is barely any space between the lid and the top of the joysticks, gently pushing down on the lid will click the joysticks.One can imagine in a tight luggage or travel bag that isn’t ideal.The zipper compartment on the lid seems could hold a cable, nothing else.The storage cavity below the portal does not hold my slim 1’ thick wall charger , the portal won’t sit flush with anything more than a cable in that cavity, maybe earbus.If you want drop, scratch and screen protection, this case is fine.I wouldn’t put a power brick in the case, or stuff it in a tight luggage / travel bag.Ideally the Lid should be harder and not make any contact with the joysticks.
