Inexpensive price tags for good quality gaming audio
If you are looking for an inexpensive pair of IEMs to get into the audio space this is a great choice. I’ve Owen many different pairs of headsets, headphones and earbuds, these were recommended to me by a fellow gamer and they do not disappoint. I do however have these plugged into a CODEC that connects my audio with XLR. The connectivity is super easy either use the provided adapter for the 1/4 inch socket or plug directly into the pc. The noise cancellation is 100% there creating a submerging environment. The carrying case it comes in is a great touch and take up almost no room at all fitting in the palm of your hand. I’ve also used these for watching YouTube, live streams outside of gaming. These are my go to IEMs for tournament gaming as well. These versatility is vast. You would not be disappointed.

Easy 5 stars across the board...
I am a purchasing consumer reviewing product that I bought. I am not partnered with any retailer or manufacturer, and am not receiving anything for posting this review. I will post updates to this review as my opinions change. [3/2/24] After a few days plugging these into various sources. I am overall pleased with this purchase. Overall sonic presentation is smooth and balanced with just a little bass boost below ~80 Hz. No serious "holes" in the sonic spectrum. Others have complained about the treble performance, but I find it to be pleasing. Present enough without becoming over-bearing. I am a little treble sensitive though to be honest. Too little is better than too much... and the way these present sounds above ~5k I find to be just about right. As far as mid-range sounds like vocals and solo instrumentation goes there's just enough boost/energy there to keep things interesting and avoid sounding dull. Be forewarned, despite the low price these are detail revealing enough to reveal poor recordings, and dull sounding source circuits. Basically a dull, lifeless, flat source or source material will sound exactly that way. These monitors will not do anything to "color things up". Conversely, well recorded material and a well chosen source will handily reward the listener with an experience well beyond the $55 price. I am very slightly leaning towards the included foam tips the most. They just feel right for my ears, they seem to block more ambient noise too. I only wish they included more. The silicone tips are a little firm feeling in my ear canal, BUT I like how easy they are to insert. I will probably go back and forth between the various medium size tips. I haven't completely settled on one strong preference yet. These are just a little on the bulky side for my ears. I can't comfortably lie/sleep on them. So as night time "sleep-cans" these will be a pass. I will stick with my cheap JBLs for listening to forest rain and ocean waves while sleeping at night. [4/23] Everything I stated above remains true after almost 2 months. I did wear out the foam tips though. I am perfectly fine using the silicone tips. There definitely is some midrange flair though, from maybe 1.5k ~4k. Not exactly sure how to describe it... but it's a coloration of sort. Guitars (and electric guitar cabinets) sound like actual resonating wood. Clarinets sound like vibrating wood and resonating air within a tube. Drums have an acoustic tonality like an actual chamber of resonant air. These monitors make music sound like a live single instrument being played in front of you... They don't sound like a 2 channel stereo system in a room playing a recording. [10/23/24] Still enjoying these monitors after ~6 months. I stand by everything I posted previously. I also use them to listen to live sporting events (NFL & NBA) on AM/FM radio. I also listen to late night FM radio music shows. Their warm / smooth signature works well for radio. I didn't post it above but I go back and forth between these and my old trusty Koss KSC-75 all the time. The two compliment each other nicely for times when I do / don't need sound isolation. [1/22/25] I stand by everything posted above. My brother in law gave me his old 128GB ipad and I have been using this as my source for all my CD ripped music. No complaints here. If anything the ipad sounds a little dull and distant compared to my Sony D335 and Magnavox AZ6815 portable CD player headphone jack. Its not offensive mind you, just different. With the ipad source the Zero Red sounds preferable with silicone tips. There is some bass accent with foam tips that work against "darker" sounding sources. I don't use the impedance adapter at all either. Its too bulky and I fear it could stress the headphone jack on my sources. [1/29/25] I finally got around to replacing the foam tips. I picked up a 20 pack of Sonicfoam SF0-SMALL. The Zero Red is well known for having a HUGE sound output tube, almost 7mm diameter. The SF0 diameter fits the Zero Red perfectly. Not too tight and not too loose. They are very similar to the OEM foam tips, except the Soncfoam material expands much slower so I do not have to hurry/rush to insert them. As far as sonics and comfort go they are an exact match to the OEM foams. Not sure how durable they are. All foam tips are basically disposable anyways.

Good quality
Has a nice softer sound to it, great quality IEM for the price compared to more cheaper or expensive brands. I’ve had this for a year or two now and it has lasted me a while if kept safely and away from hazard. Cord length is enough if not moving away from your device, but you can always replace the cord with longer ones. Easy installation that just consists of plug and listen, but I would recommend double checking you had used the right side of the wire with the right ear piece as position matters.

Solid Performance
FOH and Monitor engineer for 15 years. Coming from JH Audio Roxannes that broke and looking for a short term replacement. Frequency response on these is solid. Actually not mad at all. Pretty good. Warm clean low end. Crisp kick drum. Clear voice and snare. Clean high end. First few listens I didn't think I liked them. After about 10 minutes in I appreciated them. I ordered a few pairs in this price range, and it almost just boils down to preference in this price range. These sit comfortably in my ears. They come with several bud options, a nice little faux leather pouch. I also just found this little "bass+" adapter. I'll have to read up on what that's for, but if it's a bass boost, maybe I hear it. It's subtle. Which is nice. Not sure I'll use it because I want a flat response. Performance is stable even pushing them to high volumes. My current soundcheck songs are Drake -- Hold On We're Going Home, and Daft Punk -- Give Life Back to Music. Use whatever you're familiar with. I'd give it 5 stars but I don't like the cable. It feels cheap. And the "around the ear" section doesn't quite mold, but doesn't quite move either. It's just kinda in the way. Not sure I'll like dealing with that. Still deciding but right now I'm not mad at these at all.

Didn't like them at first because of ear fit and then...
When I first put them on they didn't feel as good around my ear and fitting as my Linsoul KZ ZS10 Pro's. After finding the right ear buds in the pack and using them and then doing this they fit perfectly: Place the ear buds in your ears, then wrap the ear shaped cord part around your ears. For the left ear turn it clockwise, for the right ear turn it counter clockwise and they plug into your ear perfectly and hold very good. I was going to go back to my Linsouls until I figured this out. They never slip off and they're noise cancellingly tight in my ear. Pro's: - Awesome sound - Awesome cord - Awesome price Con's - Initially figuring out how to place them snugly in my ear (explained above.) Conclusion Awesome buy, would buy again. They replaced my beloved Linsoul's.

One of the best budget gaming IEMs out there for the price!!!
I LOVE THESE, wayyyyyyy better than any gaming headsets I used that cost 3 times more than these. I can tell where footsteps and gunshots are coming from in all of the games I play. Audio is extremely good for the price.

Durability is an issue
Sound quality for gaming phenomenal. However I purchased Jan 2025, In December 2025 it started getting scratchy in the right ear from here to there. Now the right ear cuts completely out while gaming. So durability was not it. I game 4 to 5 times a week for about 2 hours. I have them plugged into my GoXLR.. not sure if I want to re purchase or go for a higher end brand to see of they last longer. I believe the cord could certainly be longer for sure. The fit is perfect, it comes with enough ear pieces to wear.

Worth the price of entry
Just got them. Sound is really good. Could use a bit more bass. It comes with a connector to increase it, but it just makes it awkward and doesn’t make too much of a difference. Overall I would say it’s worth the buy. Plenty of rubber tips for a customized fit

Simply incredible.
Holy crap they are amazing, it honestly made me tear up a little by how much better it sounds than my larger headphones. It's hard to explain the feeling. The packaging is superb, comes with a beautiful leather pocket to store them in and you get 7 different-size eartips. Honestly absolutely mindbreaking how they're this cheap.

Truthear

My first pair of IEMs and I’m never going back.
My first iem (In Ear Monitor) and I am very glad I got these. I started looking at iems after seeing a lot of reviews and other videos on YouTube. I have typically used either wired headphones (Sony, Samson and Astro) or Apple AirPods or other Bluetooth earbuds. I don’t consider myself an audiophile however I do listen to a lot of music and am also a musician so I know what I like and I know what sounds good. I wanted to try iems without spending much as I wasn’t sure I would like the feel in my ears so I looked for a relatively cheap pair that had good reviews on Amazon and YouTube. I came across the Truthear Zero: Reds and they ticked all the boxes. I’m so glad I got these. When first plugging them in (to a Snowsky Echo Mini) and putting on “Human Nature” by Michael Jackson, OMG. I have listened to this song for over forty years on different headphones and speakers and I was shocked that I heard parts that I had never heard before. The track came alive and I felt like I was in the studio with Michael and Quincy. Steve Lukather’s guitar parts (which were already incredible) sounded like he was sitting next to me and it put the biggest smile on my face. I know I’m hyping them up a bit but damn, I hadn’t enjoyed listening to music this much in years and these iems are responsible for renewing my love of music. I am now fully down the iem (and hi-res audio) rabbit hole and would recommend the Truthear Zero: Reds to anyone looking for a very clean and natural sounding iem.

IEM vraiment bluffants !
