Great trolling motor for saltwater
Great trolling motor for saltwater, been using for about 6 moths with no issues, called minn kota with a few questions on how to use and they have fantastic customer service, so nice to be able to speak with a knowledgeable person that speaks good english. Motor was mounted on a 20 foot boat and has no problem holding it in place in the ocean. This is a game changer to be able to spot lock on a reef and not have to drop an anchor. Quality is excellent and fairly quiet, just rinse off after use and remove from boat with quick release bracket for indoor storage.

Best boat purchase
We have a Carolina Skiff 21LS and this handles our boat perfectly. A must have for the boat. Would purchase again. Shipping was fast and item arrived in perfect shape. Easy to install on your own.

Not Happy
This trolling motor was not put together from the factory correctly. It had bracket mounting for a 55 pound motor and the motor was a 80 pound. Thanks to the people who I took it to for the mounting on the boat found the problem. They were a Minn Kota dealer and repair dealer so they knew what was wrong. Think before you buy from Amazon for this product. I don’t know who was at fault but when you can buy local. They will look out for you.

Great purchase
Nice trolling motor, easy installation, spot lock works perfectly. Have had several comments while using it out on the water. Comes with remote that hangs around neck.

Great power.
Has great power and is awesome when it works right. I've had it want to keep spinning and wrap its wire up when hitting spot lock. Power cycle fixed this. Same day I was using it at full speed and while turning the remote or something disconnected and it pulled my boat in a circle 3 times before I could make it to the bow to power it off. Went back to working fine after I turned it back on.

Love it!!!
I absolutely love this trolling motor! Easy to install. Well built. Easy to pair everything (remote, phone app, etc) together. The best feature and why I swapped this out for my Minn Kota Maxxium is the anchor lock feature. Has changed the way I fish! Recommended.
