Hot Wheels Downtown Police Station Breakout Vehicle Playset

Great price and Hot Wheels always puts out quality toys. My son loves it, was a great addition to the Hot Wheels City set.

This came with a gold car with basketballs on it instead of a police car as pictured

My son really loves all things hot wheels and he thinks this police station is pretty cool, the badge comes off the building and he can wear it. The only downside is hit wheels are kinda pricey and there are so many of them!

My 4-yr old son loves the police station - the push button with the ramps, elevator, doors - it's a cool little building for not being that expensive.HW does have design problems when it comes to their city buildings and streets - it's so hard to line up all the roads with city roads or orange tracks. Good thing my son doesn't care as much as I do, but boy I would sleep better at night if they followed a pattern and consistent spacing. One funny thing is how the elevator lowers down for a car to get on, but it has a little tab on the side so you can pick it up, but that tab sticks out and hits the city road it would connect to so the elevator can't sit flush against the road. And you can't connect an orange track to that part - only a city street. (That's what I mean that the HW city street design has problems). (minor thing though)Just like others, this set came with the gold basketball car instead of the police car. My son already had the gold basketball car and immediately realized this set didn't have a police car. (I didn't even realize it was supposed to have it...haha)Besides that, the package looks perfect - it doesn't look rewrapped, or used, or anything. I'm guessing it is a HW production issue where they don't have the police car so they are using this gold basketball car instead.One interesting thing was that the back of the box had a lot of text - just box contents listed in multiple languages (English was not first though). But there was a white box at the top with some non-english words. I looked that up, and I think it was Portugese. So, I'm wondering if these were made for a different Market where they couldn't include a police car for some reason. Or maybe they just aren't including a police car due to recent protests and such and don't want to risk any possible public blow back from people? Who knows!What I do know, is that I contacted the HW/Mattel customer service and reported the issue about the gold car. They said sorry and said they couldn't get me the police car but offered to send me a "Random" 1 of 6 Downtown Building set. They can't say which set it will be. I thought this was a nice gesture and an interesting way of handling the problem - also reinforces the idea that maybe they have a shortage of police car models. I think I'll just go buy a HW police car now and call the issue resolved :)

This is a cool hot wheels set. My son loves it. The orange door on the side goes down and you can lift it to the middle, top or leave it on the bottom. The police car then takes off. The badge even comes off and my son loved that. Definitely recommend this toy.

I looks like it will be cute when unwrapped and it's exactly what my grandson asked for. It seems a bit pricey, however.

This has more features than other sets that cost more. It's small, but has more opportunity for play.

The picture shows white police car. I got black a police car. The reason I ordered it because it was a my childhood police car that I loved. Very disappointed I did not get the white police car, the one that is s pictured. Scammish feeling.
