I’ve had this camera, fingerprint, doorbell, and keypad combo lock for six months. The fingerprint reader always states illegal user on the first read, then once it unlocks, it locks and unlocks three more times. The phone app unlock feature takes forever to connect and then fails on the first attempt to unlock. Also, doesn’t happen often, but every once in a while, it will unlock itself…not all the way, about 1/4 of the way. All of a sudden I’ll hear the gears clacking open. Yes, clacking, this thing is so loud. Anyway, I have to go and lock it again. Don’t waste your money on this cheaply made lock.

The media could not be loaded. One touch operation with excellent HD camera and fingerprint reader. Fits well into existing deadbolt door mount holes. Minor dremel work needed for deadbolt to fully extend in my door jam. That was the only mod I needed. Once I got the software setup completed the unit is all that I hoped for. From the outside we walk up and simply press finger onto reader to unlock door. User can also use standard provided physical key or use keypad pass code to unlock deadbolt. Cell phone notification upon door bell ring works very well. User can then view video and engage in two-way discussion with person at door. Option to unlock door from cell phone app during discussion with person at door is also a great feature. We setup device to relock itself after 30 seconds of unlock to ensure property security. Remember to switch wi-fi setting on your phone to 2G before adding deadbolt to your Wi-Fi. Passcodes and wi-fi passcode stored locally on device so my concern that 3rd party could access my wi-fi remotely is not an issue. Highly recommend this deadbolt.

The lock, which was incredibly straightforward to install, worked flawlessly during the post-installation test, instilling a strong sense of confidence in its user-friendliness.Shortly after the setup, the doorbell feature seamlessly activated, providing a highly convenient alert on my phone whenever someone pressed the bell. However, there was a minor issue with the notification system.After the support period expired, the lock went into log-out mode, which only allowed the administrator to open the door. All other previously entered codes and fingerprints were not recognized. If I tried adding a new user by following the usual process, I got a verification that the new user was added. However, when I tried to use the new code or fingerprint to open the door, it would say illegal user.I had to re-initialize the system and discovered that pressing the exit/lock button twice would unlock it, which renders the lock useless. It should be noted that when connected to Alexa, the lock works perfectly.

Bought this smart lock and returned it. I liked the idea of the lock having an integrated camera. But the instructions in the manual were poorly written and vague. I searched online to find no helpful resources. When I finally figured the physical installation of the lock on my own, the integrated camera could not recognize the QR code to add the device to the app and household. Very frustrating so I returned it.

I would give this a 4.5 rating if I could, because it’s great but not perfect.This smart lock is packed with a lot of features and the value is worth it. It’s easy to install, works well, but it’s a learning curve.If you don’t have a wifi router right next to the smart lock (10ft away recommended) then you’ll need to purchase an extender to make it work through the app. I had to do this which costed me an extra $70.The support staff is super friendly and has been really helpful with my questions.

The media could not be loaded. I dont understand why vendors wrk so hard to sell badly designed products. This could have been a great device. Camera and Door Bell wek amazing. Connects to wifi.. amazing. But try to unlock the actual deadbolt.. well.. maybe in a house built brand new with perfect door alignment but no where else. The smallest bit of resistance on the bolt and the motor would give up. Tried to show un the video.. literally barely pressed rhe door to make it wrk. The motor is just weak. Avoid tbis product. Its not built or designed well.

I spent half the afternoon fighting with this things and still have yet to get the user's passcodes/fingerprint/etc to open the lock. It literally seems to only open by keyUpdate: turns out there was a hardware issue, the seller replied stupidly fast and had a new one to me the next day. This one works wonderfully I’m only leaving the above as an indicator that these guys are actually worth buying from. If you do have an issue they got you. Hell the guy even tried to help triage the busted one even though a new one was already on the way. Thanks for being among the best sellers on here yall ❤️❤️
