Julian Bream & John Williams - Together - The Ultimate Collection

Old friends, these recordings. I haven't had the time to play all of the two C.D.s, but they are sure to be better than my ancient vinyls from the seventies - a world away!I love the music, especially the baroque pieces, but also the arrangements for two guitars of orchestral music. The Ravel is wonderful, as is the Da Falla.I am a complete and utter fan of both artists, so together they are indispensable. Oh yes!

John Williams and Julian Bream had such differing styles of play, yet they fitted together so comfortably.Thankfully, their recorded output was vast and varied, so as you can imagine this collection pulls together a wide and exceptional selection of recordings representing the very best in guitar music of its time.Buy it, enjoy it and marvel at these two magnificent musicians.

Wonderful stuff - you can't afford to not buy these 2nd hand recordings.

Bought this cd on the spur of the moment as I like to have music on in the background in the house. Not quite what I wanted which is not musicians fault. Gave it to charity shop for somebody else to appreciate it.

I bought this to listen to whilst driving but discovered it is a dull and rather boring assy of B side compositions. Very disappointed.

For anyone who loves relaxing to classical guitar music, then this is a must. The two world class artists compliment each other magnificently.

Couldn't be better. I attended several performances by Williams and Bream, and this cd faithfully recaptures the magic.
