With 16 sponges per pack, not only do they last for months, but the bulk packaging also reduces the need for frequent purchases, saving me money. Despite their eco-friendly composition, these sponges tackle tough messes easily. What sets them apart is the durability. Unlike traditional sponges, they hold up exceptionally well. Lastly, I loved how compact the package is with clear instructions and a note a tree is planted per purchase, which was a great surprise. The sponges deliver on sustainability, effectiveness, and durability, making them a top recommendation for anyone looking to make eco-conscious choices without compromising quality!Best part, the expand when you put them in water and my cat LOVED them! 😄

Pros- good for the environment- a good few in the box- small size for storage when you don't use the fresh onesCons- aren't as solid and untearable as another set I've review recently- smaller than usual and thinner than usualGreat for small hands, bad for medium or normal sized hands.The selling points here I think are the storage being all in one small box. Saves a lot of space for the fresh ones. And the other point is that they're eco friendly supposedly (I haven't exactly had the length of time needed to test this and I have no composter)They're smaller than usual, they're also thinner than usual. So I found it a little awkward to clean some things with these. The price is a little higher than I would advise but some people spend more for eco friendly.I use steak knives with pretty much everything and found these sponges don't actually hold up well with cleaning serrated blades. So this will shorten the life of them if you're like me and use steak knives for every meal unless you're super careful with them. But they don't have the abrasion resistance to not put a lot of pressure on when cleaning.They're decent enough but I don't think these would be my go to.

I have used this style of eco sponge for years and would never go back to an awful plastic one. These ones in particular are hood for me as they’re smaller than some of the others which o find easier to hold.

This is my first time purchasing these sponges and I’m delighted with them, not only did they come in a cute and compact eco box, I love the fact they expand to size once wet, this is great for saving space in the kitchen. I’ll be buying again!

It's a good value pack of sponges that will last a long time.I've been using this type for a while, and they are great and eco-friendly, which is very important to me.The sponges in this pack are a little bit thinner than what I had before but are still fine for dishwashing or cleaning the bathroom/surfaces.They won't be suitable for any hard scrubbing as they are quite soft but still, does the job.

These Better Eco kitchen sponges don’t do a good job in washing dishes and kitchen accessories in my opinion. I’ve found that they’re less effective to clean with than your traditional plastic kitchen sponge with a scour layer. This is because too much washing up liquid gets absorbed into these sponges but then gets “trapped” inside and doesn’t seep out again. Therefore, the dishes don’t lather as much and I end up using more washing up liquid.Another disadvantage is the lack of an abrasive “scour” layer. On most occasions when using these I’ve started off cleaning with them but had to finish the job with a traditional sponge as these sponges won’t remove stubborn grime and debris no matter how hard I scrub. Additionally, these sponges are also rather thin.This is a shame as I would love to wholeheartedly support a sustainable, plastic-free product that believes in reducing waste. Unfortunately though, these sponges just don’t deliver for their intended purpose.On the positive side, I will be using these sponges to clean the house with rather than dishes, as I have found them much more effective and better at scrubbing bathroom tiles, panels and furniture surfaces clean.They are scratch-free when using and seem durable.
