It seems to be very sturdy and looks as advertised.Suggest making it a project for the kid. Make sure you have a bag of sand and 1/2" funnel (approx 3/4" hole) to fill the base. Otherwise expect to spend about 1/2 an hour filling it yourself. It needs to be pretty full of sand to prevent the sand from sloshing and having the bag stuck on its side.The instructions say its easy to fill the base with sand (not included), but its NOT "easy". Filling with water is really easy, but I have wood floors and a leak would be disastrous, so have to add sand per their instructions. Also a funnel (not included) is an absolute necessity because the filler hole is smallish and has a slit opening deep inside that has to be wedged open with something. Tried cutting it larger, but didn't have a cutting blade small enough to fit down in there. Didn't feel like trying to shred it with a knife, so had to find a funnel and some sand.

On arrival, the unused item had a tear along the seam, at the valve for sand / weight. Tried to use as I didn't have time to refund, but yes, of course it leaked. And it was $$$$ so I was expecting much better. Past the return date now. I should have sent it back earlier, but from my experience with such type of defective products, the only result is a replacement "good" product that ends up with the same defect after some use. My 2 cents.

I ordered this several months ago but just opened it up today. I went to fill the bottom and realized it is open along the seal so whatever I would fill it with to weight it down would leak. Very upset I didn’t pull it out sooner as now my return deadline has long passed. Hoping they would replace the internal part as I spent a significant amount of $ on this.
