These are really nicely designed and manufactured banana plugs. I am not fond of mashing screw slugs directly into stranded wiring, but I used small ferrules, and they worked fine. My preference would have been for one of the old-fashioned banana plugs with solder cups, but I also wanted gold plating. The two don't come together. And while I could solder these, I just hated to do it. (shrug)Anyway, highly recommended for quality, but really more expensive than I was looking for.

These are not "cheap" examples. They accepted 12 gauge stranded silicone insulated wire. There are two hex wrench inserts for tightening/clamping wire. to metal body. Solid connection. The cover can be screwed on from the front of the plug, it does not need to be slid on from the wire side or back of plug. Making your tow banana plug cables is pretty much a make it once and forget it use it forever deal, but if a person wanted, they could take these apart and reuse them easily enough. I recommend them and would buy then again.

Not much to say … these were easy to mechanically fasten, the crimps are well designed, and they fit snug in my ports. Look good to boot. Will buy more as needed.

Needed banana plugs for good quality electronics. Wanted plugs that were solid brass since metal with magnetic properties reduces sound quality via it's magnetic field.These plugs passed the magnet test and seem to be well made. They fit snug when pushed into my amp and speakers. If I had to criticize, they do not tighten down very well on 16 AWG cable, which I had on-hand. There is too much room in the connector when using 16 AWG, so the locking screws do not have enough wire to grab. 14 AWG or larger would work better.

These are nice speaker banana plugs. Especially for the price. Packaged very well...each one in it's own slot. Comes with a small allen wrench for installation that worked very well to tighten the screws. Has two allen head set screws for each plug which helps to secure the wire. Nice abs plastic insulator covers that have a slight flare on the wire end to make it easier to pull when disconnecting the plug and also insulates each plug from each other when installed. Fit my amp speaker inputs just fine no problems with spacing. They do need a little pressure to insert but this was not a problem and that way they stay firmly installed.Happy with this purchase will buy again when needed.

Helps maintain order behind my stereo

The best feature of this versus others I was looking at was the dual screws to hold the wire. It gave me much more confidence having two screws, so I did not feel the need to solder. I gave it a few hard tugs and it really holds the wire great!

These plugs seem to be made good, but the little screws are not. I stripped the small threads on about half of them when installing. Lucky for me I had some older plugs lying around and was able to use the screws from those.

I used a lot of those across the price range and those are very good plugs, quality well above the price.There is nothing to dislike about those plugs. The wire is secured by two screws, and I mean secured no matter if it is 24 AWG or 12 AWG. The pin itself is well designed it fits tight into the speaker binding posts and amplifier speaker outputs. Esthetically they are OK, certainly do look cheap or feel cheap.I used them for the adapter cable to use the speaker amp for headphones, and for speakers, and there is no sound difference between those and directly attached wire, which is the most that can be said about any banana plug.

Love it. Will definitely be ordering more as they are so much better than the cheap and crappy banana plug I had before. This one has two screws to secure the wire instead of one like the plugs I was using had. Much less likely to come loose.

Product well made. Easily reusable. Good clamping to wire. Well insulated.

Work exactly as promised. Solid connection to my HK receiver and Ryan Accoustic speakers’ post terminals. Sound is great!
