A hand thrown stoneware jug decorated with a woodland motif. Ideally suited for use as a milk or cream jug. This jug has a rustic feel evocative of the Arts and Crafts movement. All my handmade pottery is individually crafted in my studio in Cumbria (UK). The pots are thrown by hand on the wheel or if not round - formed using a press mould. They are then fired to 1280°c with a gas kiln using a reducing atmosphere to bring out the special colour responses from the glaze. • All the pieces are 100% Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher safe. • All my products are fired at high temperature (1280°c), for extra strength and durability. • Please allow for small differences in sizes and shapes between the items as they are all handmade and each one is unique. The glaze colours might also vary slightly, even in the same batch. • The pictures of my pots are shot in natural light to make the glaze colours as realistic as possible, but be aware that these may vary depending on your computer screen. • All items are very well packed in bubble-wrap and individual boxes to arrive with you safely.
