Easy to install. Unbelievable how excellent it works. Water is cleaner and clearer than before. Should have replaced it sooner. Great buy. We have a 7 seater hot tub.

This item the water in my spa is crystal clear. I think this is an excellent value for the money . It has been delivering at 100% for weeks now. No problems, no complaints, buy this ozonator.

We had to replace it 2 months in then it only lasted another 2 months it does not last.

This ozonator plugged and played and worked great with my Balboa hot tub system, it kept my hot tub clean and worked well for almost exactly a year and then just stopped working, it's cheap enough that it doesn't really bother me to buy one of these every year, but it would be nice if they lasted a little longer. But I shouldn't have been surprised when even the label has spelling errors on it.

Using this ozone generator has allowed to to cut the chemical usage in my hot tub substantially. The tub stays cleaner and smells better. Then water also seems to be softer on my skin because I'm able to use less chemicals. Install was easy and I couldn't be happier with it.

This unit works good in my 550 gallon hot tub but don’t expect it to last more than a year. These units only last 12 months so it’s an annual purchase for me. It’s the only unit I can find that can handle an 8 person hot tub. So for me it’s the only game in town.

My spa is over 30 years old and over that span has gone through numerous ozone generators. They're built to last only a couple of years so that's expected. I can do my own installations and thus reduce the replacement cost to just the price of the generator. I was looking for a replacement for the existing Prozone PZ1 tht was installed nearly 3 years ago. Apparently that model was discontinued so I ended up buying this HCD-55 instead. It arrived quickly. My only "challenge" was drilling a couple of new mounting screw holes, no issue. The HCD-55 has a pre-wired plug that fit my socket with no modifications, and connecting the hose was a snap. Total installation time was about 15-minutes! I have been running for a couple of weeks now. I can smell a trace of ozone so I know it's working. I just hope I can get close to another 3 years out of this new style. I knocked it 1 star on value as I know I paid less for the Prozone units I bought in the past, but in fact value is yet TBD as it is certainly a function of longevity. Overall a good purchase...
