Update fixed now! Didn't work at first!
Did not work at first, was vary upset! Customer service sent a new throttle! Took 3 weeks due to Chinese new year! ( not there fault) Works better than I imagined! Was upset after paying $500 for a product that i needed for work that didn't work! Now it's up and going, and I mean going! It's fast! Cut my time to work from 30 minutes on my old 350watt ebike to 15 minutes on this one! It goes 25 miles an hour, I got myself a helmet do to the speed! Customer support is not the best, probably due to translation issues, and a way different time zone, but they did what was needed to fix my problems! Had a small dent in rim (could be from shipping)but other than that it is a great deal, can't beat the price and performance! I have to turn the power down! Yes it's adjustable! Can set speed to what ever speed works for you! I highly recommend at this price, and as to date it works vary vary well. Just know this thing is fast I've crashed at 15 mph and fractured a few things, 15 mph don't sound bad tell you hit the ground trust me it's not fun, just be careful maybe get a helmet for this thing, I did, i would rather look foolish with a helmet on then, crash this thing at top speed and really get hurt! It's fast but fun fast! Buy this thing it's worth it, for fun and work! Well worth the money! Especially with gas prices these days! Sorry for the first negative review, it didn't work at first and I was angry when I wrote the review! Small problem fixed now and vary happy!! Thank you!!

Relatively easy to install and fun to ride!
I bought the 500 W Yose Power eBike conversion kit to convert an old mountain bike. (I got the free hub version, not the cassette.) The kit arrived extremely well packaged with all the parts necessary. I guess I didn't look closely at the pictures, but it also comes with a crank puller, a free wheel removal tool, and a bottom bracket tool. I used my own, but it's a nice touch that they include them. The kit installed pretty easily. All the issues I had were due to my old bike - a stuck bottom bracket and a grip shifter that broke. I installed the whole shebang - the brake levers, Peddle Assist Sensor and everything. I did purchase a Grin eBike double Bob mount for the battery to make the mounting more secure and also to provide more mounting options. I wouldn't have been able to mount the battery inside the bike’s main triangle without it. I also bought an eBikeling torque arm to protect the rear dropouts, but I am not sure if it's really necessary. There are asymmetrical washers supplied with the kit that fit into the rear dropouts on both sides of the bike. They seem to work like the torque arm does. The video on the Amazon listing helped a lot with installation. The paper manual wasn't all that helpful. (Note: I installed a 7 speed freewheel on the hub, so I had to buy that too. I’ve been having no trouble with it.)The cables are long, so I had to zip tie a lot on the frame. They provide a bag that velcros into the triangle, and I used that to hold a long loop of the cable that goes to the LCD display. The little handlebar-mounted controller/LCD display has an on/off switch, and you can push it on the top and the bottom of its face to change the power output of the motor. There are five power settings that you see as little squares across the top. Speed is displayed as the big number in the middle. I think that the battery charge is displayed across the bottom. It’s pretty minimal, but I like the easy way you can change the power output.I just went on a ten mile ride last night and it was super fun. I tried riding with the PAS disconnected - I wasn't sure if I wanted to use it. However, with it disconnected, it seemed like I could not control the power output with the handlebar display, so the thumb throttle just went from 0 to 500 W, I guess. It was a little difficult to control the speed with the throttle that way. I reconnected the PAS, and I really enjoyed how the bike rode. I could easily ramp the power up and down by clicking on the display. When I was going up hills, I could feel the motor start to push me up when my speed decreased. It was a blast. I never went to the max setting (5 squares). At 4 squares (80% of full power), the bike rode faster than I thought I should be going on our community bike path. I found that I adjusted the output power quite a lot – like when passing pedestrians. I think if I was riding in traffic I would adjust it down at stoplights and back up once I got going. Maybe I’ll get used to the acceleration.Oh yeah, the battery… The battery seems to function fine. I charged it up overnight, and I don’t think that my first ride drained it significantly. I pedaled a lot!I’m very happy with this purchase so far. I think the LCD display is a little minimal, but maybe that’s a good thing. I’m concerned with the durability of the parts. The hub seems well made from what I can tell from looking at the outside. The other parts are little flimsy feeling – like the thumb throttle and PAS. I think that only time will tell if the battery is a good one.

terrible
Sadly I'm not happy with this kit. The peddle assit is dangerous, you accidently hit the peddle the bike shoots forward at full speed. Had to disable it. The thumb throttle is also hard to control the speed. one bump and you are flying. Also hurt my wrist trying to keep control of speed. The plus side steep hill climb is a breeze. Im a heavy guy and no peddle required to go up hills.

Great kit at a great price
I've put a few dozen miles on this kit now and so far I'm very impressed. The install process was fairly straight forward, the only issues I really had were due to my bike being a bit older and it was tough to get it apart. I can get up to 25mph without a problem and on mostly throttle I think this battery could easily last for around 25-30 miles per charge.I also had the chance to test out their support, because I broke one of the cables within the first day (entirely my fault). I reached out to their support for a replacement part and they responded within a few hours and were very helpful. The replacement part was out of stock in their US warehouse but it only took about 6-7 days to ship from China. It was honestly one of my better experiences when contacting support for an Amazon seller, very quick and helpful. All in all, I think this is one of the best purchases I've made in years!FYI - to get into the settings on the DZ40 display that comes with this kit, turn the battery and display on, then hold the mode button for 4-5 seconds. The first section of the settings is km/mph, the second is the tire size, third is max speed, and I believe the fourth section shows the battery voltage but I could be wrong on that.

Tricky but FUN!
It doesn't ramp up slow, so it is a touch tricky. I usually start out PAS2, then bump up to three. The acceleration straight to PAS 3 is abrupt- even when expecting it. I purposefully did not attach the throttle- keeping it class 1 (set speed to 20 MPH too). JMHO

Great idea, doesn’t quite work
Doesn’t fit well. The spinning of the wheel causes the screw to wear down and essentially is stripped. Good customer service.
