Ditz Designs Red Fox Stuffed Animal 32" Woodland Plush Pillow Sitting Hug

I've got a dozen DITZ products of various types in my house and my whole family loves them. They are very durable and good quality.These buddies are irresistibly huggable and because they are weighted in their feet, they sort of hug you back. The pictures don't show it very well, but these foxes prefer ever so slightly to bend to one side which is optimal if you wrap one around your neck like a stole. The weights of the front legs on one shoulder balance out the weights of the back legs on the other shoulder, making for a very stable, comfortable, and fuzzy experience that keeps you warm and also helps you chill because of the calming pressure. Pressure is a big virtue considering these foxes have been sold as therapy products for people who need that, but it's a good thing for anyone.They can double as small pillows in a pinch and are great neck support for tall-torsoed people who find the back of the couch to short. The wrap around neck support is great for PASSENGERS in the car, especially if they want to sleep without their head flopping about.You may see a discrepancy between this product and similar ones claiming to be 26" long. It's all about whether you are including the tail of not. These foxes are 32" long from tip of nose to tip of tail when strung out straight or 26" from tip of nose to back of rump if you measure that way. Its all the same fox. I should know, I've bought products with both descriptions.This is a great option as a gift for someone you love but can't visit because of distance or any other reason. Give them this and they should know they are loved and you are giving them a multitude of hugs too. (Few people get enough hugs in this world.)

I adore her to bits! When I first opened the package I thought I'd been sent a fox pelt by mistake. Her fur is soft and luxurious, she has some beans in her rump and heavy paws, so she gives awesome hugs and can "sit" a basket with some effort. She also gives awesome hugs, though I agree that she is an over the shoulder fox. I haven't used her as a pillow or anything yet, but she's hard to put down, and yes I'm an adult. All of these plushes seem unique, so my pretty little vixen looks grumpy.Her fur is the deep red shown, and since people ask, I got brown eyes that look like she's out hunting at night. She just feels and looks so real, sitting in her basket or being cuddled she is well worth the price. And yes, her nose is a little crooked and she shed loose fur, but that's OK. I now have fox fur on my clothes and a sweetly grumpy fox.

I was so anxious about spending this much money on a stuffed animal but I had my last oen of a different kind for over 10 years and decided to retire him. The belly fur of this fox is super soft. Top fur is a bit more coarse. I'm an adult and have difficulty sleeping without a stuffed animal. This one has enough weight, length, and thickness to it to make it wondeful to hold.My only complaint is the coarser fur.

When this fox arrived, it looked like a real animal , in a plastic bag so, kinda creepy. I got him out of that bag quickly, half expecting to have to perform CPR or a tracheotomy or something. I'm a vet so...... Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by how hefty this fox is and how realistic. His paws are weighted , and he has a well stuffed soft body. Very huggable ! I was concerned that he would frighten my tiny chihuahuas, but they accepted him readily. A perfect addition to any fox lover's family!

Great addition to my skulk. I was almost thinking of dropping a star for two reasons. One, some have whiskers, this one does not, but it was not pictured as such. There was also a hard spot near the neck that turned out to be some wild white hair that was matted, perhaps with some glue. Just a snip with a pair of scissors fixed that problem. Ditz / The Hen House put out a nice quality product. Maybe the favorite of all my foxes. Also, the price from this seller is $20 or more less than other sellers, but maybe they include whiskers ;)

I have to say that these things are well made and very interesting to hold. I know it is pricey but with the quality it is worth it.
