I was skeptical that this would work, but it DOES!! It keeps the bananas longer than I ever imagined. I'd say at least a week longer than if I did not use the product. I do hang my bananas on a "tree", have not tried it having the bananas lying on the counter. I bought a large and a small. If you are usually shopping for a larger size banana in a bunch then be sure to purchase the large size.

These do seem to make a difference in keeping our bananas fresh a few days longer. They're a little challenging to put on, but they need to be tight.The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the needlework "hats" are so old-fashioned--they look like something my grandmother would have made, and I'm 71! Cute if that's your decor, but it doesn't work in my transitional (contemporary/industrial) home. I ordered only the white caps and omitted the hats--but I would have preferred to be able to order the caps without the magnets, which then should bring a little lower price. I suggest either adding a no-magnet option and/or offering some more contemporary options to attach.

I saw this on shark tank and decided to give it a try. the bananas do seem to last longer.

I haven't noticed my bananas staying fresh longer using these, so I'm not sure they really do much. Also one for a split in it pretty quickly. Maybe I tried to put it on the stem of too large of a bunch of bananas. I'll keep using them awhile longer but if/ when they break I won't buy more.
