This stuff works great but beware! It absolutely stinks!Would definitely buy again though as it's fast acting and is the only stuff Ive had that works so quickly.

Life saver
This stuff is fantastic. My large dog was scratching continually and tried all sorts to stop it . Read the reviews and decided to go for this . It relieved him almost straight away . On day 3 now and the scratching is very minimal, the dry skin clearing up . The smell isn’t too bad but I do it outside before I take him on a walk . Brilliant product

Good effective lotion.
Application on same day as delivery. At first review. Id say its stopped my Yorkshire terrier itching and biting herself continuously. as for solving her issue Ill have to wait a few days to a week for that result. otherwise Id say it seems to be working so far. It has a very strong odour to it and I would advise you use rubber gloves and a mask when applying it. And be careful It stains and ruins any material is touches. recommended.

Really does work!!!!!
My Chow Chow had clearly been irritated by something and over time had bitten all her beautiful fluffy tail down to the skin!! I came across Happy Jacks searching the internet and thought I would give it a try! It does have a strong smell, it also doesn’t look the best on the dogs coat (especially down the back legs, my neighbour thought she had had an accident!!!) however it was bearable. The first pic was when I started with happy jacks and the second one was 2 weeks later!!! A little tip: I poured it into a bottle with an applicator nozzle - so much easier to apply!!!!

It's really works.
My daughters 12 week old pup has been to the vets for continuing itching since 8 weeks old. She gave him steroids.. antibiotics etc you know.. the general £86 worth of stuff.. the itching got worse. He would cry from tearing up his tummy.. the inners of his ears.. he wouldn't sleep through crying. We tried the vets stuff, oat baths, coconut oil, medicated shampoos.. which would all be great if it was a flea allergy like the vets said. We spent hours cuddling him to sleep whilst he was wearing a sock to stop the itching.. then we noticed something.. we were all covered in tiny tiny bites.. on the areas wjerw we had prolong contact with him. Arms.. chest.. neck... laps.. and then it dawned on us! Sarcoptic mites! (Mange) I read the reviews and purchased this solution as we had exhausted fund for the vets.. with in 48hrs he is a puppy again.. enjoying being a pup.. he has the odd itchy moment and we re-treat that area but he slept though the night!!! Only waking briefly once!! We haven't slept in weeks and out poor boy is OK the mend. The stuff stinks but is amazing!!! Just wear a mask and gloves and then put pup in a cage for a bit to dry!

worked for my little pooch
I bought this as other products, even from the vet hadn't worked. majority of hair lost from back, sides, all of tail and neck but I used this and the first day, the itching was a lot less, 2nd day even better but I think the itching didn't stop until the 4th day, my dog was so much calmer and could actually sleep instead of constant scratching and gnawing. I bathed him on the 8th day then started the process again. huge difference and scratching had gone, just needed the fur to come back. 3 months later, his fur has come back all over, some areas just growing through but miles better than being bald. The bottle lasted through these treatments but I have ordered another just to cover hot spots that get the odd scratch. my dog is a yorkie, so only small and I didn't go overboard with the treatments, I just used enough to cover where needed but hope this helps others thinking of buying it wondering how much to use and how long it lasts. i would not hesitate using this if needed in future because to see my dog finally able to sleep was a blessing.

Words can't describe how grateful I am
The first time I ever took my dog, to a vet 13 years ago, she said, "Be very careful, he has sensitive skin." I didn't know what she meant, I wish I asked, because since then it's been an uphill battle with his poor skin. He is always itchy, allergic to fleas, gets yeast infections... anything that can go wrong does and he's ALWAYS itchy. We've tried sulfur shampoos, oatmeal, aloe, creams, changing his diet, but nothing provided more than temporary relief. This spring, he started losing fur along his spine and I thought "FLEAS!" Fleas will make my dog go -bald- in a matter of weeks so I freaked out and started looking everywhere for them. No fleas. Not one. Exacerbated, I started my search for the 13th year for something that would help my poor itchy dog. Originally thinking Happy Jack was a shampoo, I sort of rolled my eyes and put it in my cart with some https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WCV19B of these immuno vitamins. Bacterial and fungal infections, as well as mange, can all be helped with a stronger immune system. When I got to the bottle of Happy Jack, though, I was disappointed. It seemed expensive for so little shampoo. And then when I read the instructions, that this was to be rubbed into his skin and left to dry, I was extremely dubious. He's a pekingese with medium length fur... he'd be wet all day. Still, I followed the instructions, put on my kitchen gloves, and started smearing him in this very foul smelling oil. I expected him to freak out, since he hates the smelly sulfur rinses, but he immediately relaxed. He let me massage his whole body in oil, loved it! Was upset when I stopped! And then... he slept for hours and hours and hours. Peaceful and soothed. I repeated until the bottle was empty, about 5-6 days. The smell is overwhelming for me. My whole house seemed to smell of pine tar and it covered my tongue and throat. Who cares?! My dog felt amazing during treatments and itching was reduced 90%. It's now been 2 weeks since treatment...Dog is doing great. I see 75% reduction in itching, the bald spots are robustly growing new hair, the skin is white and clear. Even the black spots on his belly lightened by several shades. I plan to buy another bottle in a couple weeks for more spot-therapy. I want to treat his most targeted areas maybe once a week to keep him as comfortable as possible. I also want to treat his tummy to see if we can't get it a nice healthy color. It's been a long road but my dog is actually sleeping through the night... which NEVER happens. He'll sleep in! He doesn't have to be babysat because he rolls around all day. He doesn't itch himself until he cries. And that is worth ANYTHING. Thank you Happy Jack for being a cure all for ALL the itchiness that plagues my poor dog.

The only product that works
I've bought countless products i.e. shampoos, ointments, solutions but my dog's demodex/mange was not getting better. I tried tablets recommended by my vet but had the same result. Then I came across this product while doing some research and decided to try it. I'm amazed that this actually works. Its taking a little time but I am seeing improvement.1. The fur under his ears and on his paws are starting to grow back and his paws don't appear as irritated and red as they did before.2. The skin on the inside of his legs became thickened and crusty with the demodex. Since I've been treating him, the skin has softened and is slowly returning to normal. The dried sulphur lingers around on his skin days after but I have no problem with it once its working as the scent disappears after a day.Of course my dog hates these treatments as it smells (but its not half as bad when compared to other products I've tried). However, he patiently endures it as he is feeling better and less stressed.I highly recommend this product for treating severe cases of mange. Once you are consistently applying the product to the affected areas, you are going to see the results after a couple days.

A bit of a disappointment
This product is just a bunch of toxic stuff all mixed together. Turpentine oil, sulfur, linseed oil, pine tar oil, etc. The package says not to use until you read directions, but the directions are mainly cautions to wear rubber gloves, dont use on animals under 12 weeks old, and so on. When it actually gets to the instructions, 8t just says "apply". It does not say whether yo bathe your dog first, or give tou any idea of how much to apply. It does say yo massage it in. Im keeping it, but I found that bathing in Dawn detergent helps a lot and Im also using Diatomaceous earth. If it gets away from us, I guess Ill have yo try this but Im reluctant to. The package also states it is absorbed thru the skin. That cant be good.
