Brilliant. I love the pieces and have bought a CD player to listen to the cd to improve my piano playing.

Love this collection of pieces. Bought this on a whim and was glad I did. Very playable (idiomatic writing) and just lovely sounding pieces.

Superb collection. A good assortment of pieces inspired by oriental music. Note that they are heavily adapted by Christopher Norton, but I love his style which is why I got this. Everything is heavily inspired by jazz but it really works well with these pieces. I can also hear flashes of Debussy who I believe was also inspired by Eastern music. Favourites are Sakura from Japan, and the Filipino piece near the beginning. These were just at the right level for me, probably around Grade 6 or so.
