All is well

One of the worst connectors I have ever used. Solder points are to small and do not have anchor eyelets. The ground pole is easily broken off so it cannot be used as a cable anchor. There is no other cable anchor point or crimp-able strain relief so the already fragile solder points can be easily torched and broken. And lastly the locking screw can be easily unscrewed and removed. At first I thought this was a good thing but they drop off all the time when unscrewing and now I have lost them completely. I’ll never buy this connector again!

So I am an electrical engineer, and in years past, the owner of an electronics repair business.So when I say that this connector is bad, it is. The locking collar is screwed on to the connector, so when you screw it on to the jack, it unscrews from the connector. This connector is supposed to be designed for 3 conductors, yea, good luck with that one. The center post is supposed to be able to connect two conductors and be isolated, I truely feel that this will never be possible with how it's designed.I looked at this connector and immediately know that I won't even try to use it.

I was hoping the other reviewer was exaggerating about the solder pads on these connectors.Sadly, they’re worse than I ever imagined. I expected to find tabs without holes, but found these pads to be the TINY cylindrical drums from the top and the sleeve. Soldering onto these would be difficult enough, but would anyone really trust the solders to hold up to the rough duties and cable pulling that a lavalier mic is subjected to during use?I know I won’t take that risk. Sending these back.

Copied everything from the professional connector except soldier points. With only One hole-through soldier point I cannot recommend this as a good connection. Far to easy to break wire connection!
