ShakeLady Wireless Weather Station Color Forecast Station with Wireless Sensor, Home Alarm Clock with Temperature Alerts & Humidity Gauge Digital Clock for Indoor & Outdoor

I was tempted to give this review a 3 based solely on the poor documentation that comes with the unit, however the unit itself deserves a 4.I have a more expensive station and this one works just as well. The documentation though gave me some troubles so if you buy this unit thought I would give a few pointers. First you have to use either batteries or the AC adopter that comes with it, not both. If you use batteries the back light cuts out after 10 seconds and you have to hit the button on the top to turn it back on. Using the ac adapter keeps the back light permanently on until you dim it or use the top button to turn it off. The documentation mentions it has a battery mode and ac adapter mode but that's it,no explanation of how those work.The outdoor sensor is just that, a sensor, it has no display of it's own (unlike my more expensive model which displays temp).Most of the settings are accessed by holding the mode button on the side for two seconds and then using the UP/Down buttons under it to change it as desired and then hit the mode button again to move onto the next setting.Anyway it measures temp (either F or C) just as well as my more expensive model and can measure a higher range of temps.

I may have received a defective unit. I have two primary complaints. 1) The display will not stay on. I removed the batteries as suggested by another owner but the unit does not operate when only plugged in. 2) I had it operating on battery power and after 30 minutes still was not picking up the external sensor located only 6 ft away on the other side of the room.

Worked perfectly right out of the box, & has continued to ever since. The indicated temp is within 1 degree of the local airport's reading (1/4 mile away). I purchased the AcuRite sun shield because I otherwise don't have a totally protected mounting location for the outdoor sensor.

Love it. Can see it from across room. Just plug it in and sets up all buy itself. I'll be buying another for my brother :)

Does not keep accurate information. Even with the outdoor sensor within 2' of the main sensor (both inside), the temp. diff. was 30 deg....99 outside and 63 inside. (should have read) 74 outside and inside. Also a 20% diff in humidity. Will be returning.

This was what I have wanted for awhile so I ordered it and it stopped working after 2 months. The numbers didn't all show up. I'm so disappointed! To late for refund!

Its pretty, lights up for 2 seconds and shuts off. Have to tape button to keep it on.Should have returned it. Dislike returning.

Good buy for the price,... dont know how long it will last.

The media could not be loaded.  This weather station has many functions. It’s a digital clock with date and moon phase and it also have an alarm clock. But the main feature remain to show indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity.For now on, it shows me the right temperature although it takes more time to my sensor to indicate changes in degree than weather station. It also have a record of maximum and minimum temperature. Humidity percentage was also the same than my other barometer.The forecast is also accurate, it tell if it will be sunny, rainy, snowy or cloudy in the next 12- 24 hours. So it works for me almost everyday. The forecast is determine by the atmospheric pressure, if it goes up or down.It’s important to put the sensor in the right place to have the right measures. The weather station support 3 external sensors and you can go through by the channel. But only one is included.It is battery powered or you can use the external power supply. You cannot charge your phone, there is no USB port. And the original wire doesn't work all the time. Except this, it’s a great and accurate weather station.
