Opening and closing of your door can be done by means of a remote control which allows the door to be locked from outside the house, preventing access, if the door or lock is forced. The encryption of the lock is variable, thus avoiding the copying of the control code through frequency tuners. Expensive in cost and batteries
A very solid lock which locks automatically after opening which is very useful. There are three power sources - 4 x AA batteries, an internal battery which can be charged from the USB connection and the capability to connect to an external alarm system. The battery life is nothing like the 6 months that is claimed - max 3 weeks for a set of AA batteries (both alkaline and LI-Ion have been used). Very expensive for what it is - hence the rating.
