BritishRailways on Dvd - Power of the Class 37. Amateur footage. The British Rail English Electric Type 3 (or class 37 as they are better known) were ordered as part of the British Rail Modernisation Plan. A total of 309 locomotives were built between 1960 and 1965. Once a familiar site on many parts of the British Rail network, the early 00s saw a rapid decline in their numbers as new locomotives took over their duties and many were withdrawn. This exclusive footage of over 200 different class 37s filmed mostly between 1995 and 2002. From working china clay in Cornwall to sleeper in Scotland, from steel in Wales to oil in the North East this dvd has something for everyone! Filming locations include: Burton-on-Trent, Bletchley, Cardiff, Crewe, Didcot, Doncaster, Eastleigh, Fort William, Leamington Spa, Lostwithiel, Newport, Norton Bridge, Oxford Peterborough, Stafford, Swindon, Water Orton, Warrington, Westbury, Willesden and more... Approx. 4 hours on 3 dvds.

Very poor quality discs only half of the programme playable on each disc
Good picture quality until about 30mins or so into each disc then it freezes completely a bit of a waste really after the company states that they don't copy discs these are blatantly copied as the labels on the discs are just paper that have been stuck on poorly. But for the price what did I expect.
