Superior Quality Duvet Cover Set
This is a top quality bedding set from Christy. I ordered the double size and it comprises the duvet cover and two pillowcases. They are made from 100% cotton percale with a 200 thread count. It is beautifully soft and lovely to sleep under and it makes me want to throw away all of my cheaper duvet covers. I will not actually do that but after sleeping under this, it makes me realise that even the mid range/mid price bedding that I have is not of this superior quality.I picked the silver grey colour which I would say is slightly darker than it appears on screen and more of a mid grey. There is no pattern or detailing to break up the colour which I would prefer because, as with anything that is 100% cotton, it is always a real pain to iron so a pattern or detailing may break it up a bit and make it look better when it’s on the bed. That being said, I am not great at ironing so I’m sure many people could make it look a lot better than I can. It does also crease easily, so even if it starts off okay, it can look quite creased quite quickly. Although I would prefer something that looked a bit different, that doesn’t take away from the superb quality and feel of this duvet cover set.I think this will be great in summer as it’s a very breathable cool fabric but it’s definitely warm enough for winter too. It is extremely well-made with good stitching and no loose threads etc. It is quite expensive, and that, together with the crease factor, means that I am going to reward this four stars, because, although the quality is five stars, those couple of niggles mean I have to take it down one star. All in all though, the quality is brilliant, and I would definitely get it again, especially if it came with a pattern or detailing.

Ambiguous ethical credentials?
I know Christy to be a good quality brand name. This bed set is nice quality. Pillowcases are Oxford rather than housewife. My personal preference is housewife. It comes in a drawstring cotton bag. It says this is great for storage, but I can't think anybody would actually put a bed set back into a drawstring bag between usage. The says it is made in Pakistan. There is a logo on the back saying it's investing in 'better cotton', and then a disclaimer underneath that says 'this product is sourced via a system of mass balance and therefore may not contain better cotton.' They also have a logo that they are using a bit of ethically sourced cardboard to give you this information. The quality is as expected from Christy. The thread count is only 200. Therefore, almost 70 quid seems a bit pricey. This is a good quality bed set, but I can't really see why you need to pay quite this much, given that I'm confused as to how ethically sourced the cotton is.

Really well made, and premium quality.
There’s no doubt that the quality of bed linen varies, some really awful and so thin, you could almost spit peas through it. Many you can buy quite cheaply, and will often look quite nice, but have poor quality material. However, this is really premium and lovely quality, but it’s by Christy, so exactly as you’d expect. It’s beautifully made, with quality detail and stitching, that’s very neat and uniform. The set is plain, with no contrasting colour / design, which may not be to everyone’s taste, but there is a choice of 4 x colours. This set is 100% cotton, and 200 thread count, so you can tell it’s a decent weight. it’s also really soft. This bed linen (King size) has been made with excellent attention to detail, although unfortunately lacks anchor points to stop the duvet moving away from the corners. The duvet cover has good quality buttons, although if I’m honest, we prefer the concealed zipper type. Zippers are so much better than dreadful poppers (that always break after a while), and buttons can be a little fiddly and awkward. The pillowcases are of very generous size (unlike sets where you can struggle to fit larger pillows), and have deep envelope flaps for proper and full pillow covering and neatness. The set is OEKO-TEX green certified, a good indicator of quality material that’s free from toxic chemicals.Overall, a top quality, premium Duvet set, which being Christy, exactly what you’d expect. Not cheap, but quality rarely is Recommended.I hope that you have found this helpful.

Quality and softness
I love this tufted king size duvet and pillow cases. I just redid my guest bedroom and bought a full size bed to replace a day bed. I wanted a neutral colour to allow the accent furniture set to show apart. It washes really well with no wrinkles when pulled right from my washer/dryer. The material is soft, although it has a bit of that shiny feel. It has ties throughout the inside. What I have experienced is that it does not trap heat like some of the other duvets do and it was not cold either. I have a love hate relationship with my mattress and honestly I do not want to get out of bed in the guest bedroom first morning after using this as it is so comfortable. It does run slightly small on a king size, so you may not have a lot of room on the sides for you to to them in. The pillow cases do not have any silky feeling as expected.

Quality and comfort in one
Having used this duvet set for some time, its quality is commendable. The 100% cotton material is both breathable and comfortable, enhancing the quality of sleep. The design is simple yet elegant, fitting well with various room decors. The OEKO-TEX certification is a reassuring touch, reflecting a commitment to environmental and social standards. The set has held up well through multiple washes, retaining both its color and comfort. It's a reliable choice for anyone seeking a blend of quality, comfort, and sustainability in their bedding.
