Fossil Gift Shop Break Your Own Geodes (Pack of 5) - Discover Your Own Crystals Inside!

I bought these at the beginning of lockdown for my 7 year old son to enjoy with a cheeky educational factor about them!We got 5 reasonably sized white rocks as described. I've marked the presentation as 3/5 stars simply because they came in a clear plastic bag with no branding - literally just the content of the picture (5 rocks and a bit of paper) in a clear plastic bag.The rocks themselves were tough to break - but it just meant that my son had extra fun smashing with his dad's hammer (supervised of course). They all revealed a pretty sparkly inside and are now stored in a tupperware box for him to show EVERYONE that visits.I'd highly recommend! they'd be great stocking fillers for most kids, or little birthday filler presents! I will definately purchase these again!

We bought these for my son who loves rocks and crystals. They are a lovely size and each rock comes in a small pouch. My son enjoyed smashing each rock and investing what was inside. All our rocks were beautiful, no assistance was needed from adults so he enjoyed it more. We bought the 10 pack so he was able to change how he hit them, light hit, powerful smash, chipping it with tiny taps lots of different ways to try and get the best crack. We had so much fun as a family opening these and putting them under a light, I would highly recommend them to anybody.

These were an emergency Prime purchase after my kids argued over sharing out the National Geographic geodes! They are fairly small but easier for the children to open. Good quality for the price.

Great fun with the kids. Only opened 5 so far- couldn’t open one (daddy has to have a go when he comes home)4 are really nice- one not so hollow but great pot of the luck. The crystals are quite tiny and fragile but very sparkly!Delivery on time tooThank you!

I haven't actually tried opening them yet, I received them just this week.I'm writing a review now as they're much smaller than described.I chose these over another seller as they said approx 2" instead of 1" from another seller.However only one of them actually makes it to 2", the rest get no bigger than 1.5" and a few are no bigger than 1".I feel a bit deceived by the description. I'm not sure I would've paid £1.50 per rock if I know they'd be so small.

Was a little difficult to break open at first but once you get the hang of it was great fun.

Firstly, apart from one rock, the other 4 were very small... And shattered into tiny pieces with just one whack! (Bearing in mind, I'm an older lady, and it was just a smallish ladies pink hammer!)But the reasonable sized rock, will not even crack! Tried bigger hammers, it ripped through the bag, so had to wrap it in a towel, and it still wont break! I can only assume that it maybe a solid piece!I will now have to wait until a stronger person comes round to give it a good whacking! Until then, I'm going to try and find a chisel to do it that way....As far as I'm concerned, this pack of rocks, is a totally waste of time and money! So unless you are happy with small fragments, then don't bother!

The media could not be loaded. Never cracked open geodes before pleasantly surprised with content plenty of sparkles from rock. Best method for breaking them for me was wrapping each one in a tea towel placing on a hard surface and hitting the geode whilst wrapped inside the towel.

Je sais qu'en ce qui concerne les géodes, ce qu'on découvre à l'intérieur est aléatoire, mais là, déçue quand même. 😔Mais bon, les géodes sont quand même magnifiques 😊Est-ce que quelqu'un sait de quel pays ils proviennent ?
