Self Assembly but incomplete
The six lamp holders have to be fitted and wired to the supply cable at the bottom of the central column. Inadequate terminal block supplied which makes it fiddly. I think the intention is ro use the twisted wires and sleaves supplied these do not provide an adiquate solution and do not meet any electrical standards in the uk. Using the terminal block for these leaves you without one for the connections to the mains in the ceiling rose. At £51 its poor Chinese quality and exposes amatures to incorrect wiring and fire risk. If the wife did not want it because it matches the copper bedframe it would have been returned. It should come assembled and wired internally to only need fitting and connection on the ceiling. Chinese crap. I am an electrical engineer hence see the pitfalls. If it was cheap I could understand but still dangerous to the unwary. Buy european to ensure it meets standards.

Really nice
I bought 2. Very happy with them, eventually. They come flat packed so there is some assembling to be done. There's also a fair bit of wiring to do in the bottom section, so I've taken away a star for that. Bulbs used were dimmable, frosted, warm white candles.
