This map shows country boundaries, but the information is primarily about the earth itself β€” the topography, vegetation, and waters. As a result, one instantly, viscerally, gets a sense of the relations of things β€” of how dramatic the Himalayas are, and the mountainous west coast of South America. Right away we could see Egypt’s relationship to Africa, the Mediterranean and Europe. It takes more than one kind of map to see an area, but this is an excellent map for starting with the big picture. It’s well-made, too. Just love it! Review: Awesome gift option - Picked this up as a present. I had a chance to see it in person and felt that this was one of the best maps in this size category. ## Features - THE WORLD IN TOUCHABLE 3D - Hubbard Scientific cartography turns real elevation data into terrain you can feel: the Himalayas actually rise, the Mariana Trench actually falls. A map people cross the room to touch. - STATEMENT WALL PIECE (36" x 24") - Fills an office, classroom, or living-room wall with vivid satellite-toned relief. Rigid vinyl hangs flat with simple hardware or drops into a standard 36x24 frame - no glass needed. - EVERY RANGE, BASIN & SHELF - Elevation-tinted color shows the Andes, Alps, Rockies, ocean floors, and continental shelves at a glance. Political labels keep it useful for daily reference, not just display. - THE GIFT THEY DON'T ALREADY HAVE - A repeat favorite for geography teachers, world travelers, remote-work offices, and map lovers who own flat maps and want the one that's different. Ships rigid and protected. - HAND-MADE IN CHARLOTTE, NC - Vacuum-formed onto a proprietary mold and individually inspected. 30 years of raised relief craftsmanship, over 1,000,000 maps shipped. Designed & made in the USA. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CLM8SQ7R | | Best Sellers Rank | #147,087 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #362 in Wall Maps | | Brand | Hubbard Scientific | | Brand Name | Hubbard Scientific | | Color | Multicolored | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 30 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W | 36"L x 24"W | | Item Type Name | Map | | Manufacturer | Hubbard Scientific | | Map Type | 3D Raised Relief | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Paper Dimensions | 24 x 36 inches | | Paper Finish | Matte | | Paper Size | 24 inches x 36 inches | | Part Number | RR-WORLD-RANGER-unframed | | Product Dimensions | 36"L x 24"W | | Sheet Size | 24 inches x 36 inches | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Hubbard Scientific - **Color:** Multicolored - **Map Type:** 3D Raised Relief - **Paper Finish:** Matte - **Sheet Size:** 24 inches x 36 inches ## Images ![3D World Raised Relief Map | Topographic Wall Map, Feel the Terrain | 36" x 24" | Vacuum-Formed Rigid Vinyl | Hubbard Scientific World Ranger - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81-nEVDTVPL.jpg) ![3D World Raised Relief Map | Topographic Wall Map, Feel the Terrain | 36" x 24" | Vacuum-Formed Rigid Vinyl | Hubbard Scientific World Ranger - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71d8q95ZBOL.jpg) ![3D World Raised Relief Map | Topographic Wall Map, Feel the Terrain | 36" x 24" | Vacuum-Formed Rigid Vinyl | Hubbard Scientific World Ranger - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71e9RAUKuLL.jpg) ![3D World Raised Relief Map | Topographic Wall Map, Feel the Terrain | 36" x 24" | Vacuum-Formed Rigid Vinyl | Hubbard Scientific World Ranger - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/511w4OggwbL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful map! *by K***A on December 14, 2023* A family member was trying to understand the location of Egypt β€” other maps had so much information, including color coding to help one see national boundaries, that it was hard to get oriented. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome gift option *by P***R on May 25, 2026* Picked this up as a present. I had a chance to see it in person and felt that this was one of the best maps in this size category. ### ⭐⭐ Very pricy for what you get *by V***I on March 23, 2026* Worst purchase I made. For the price, I expected much more detail. Mountains are clumped together in 1 chunk. That said, the overall quality is fine, color is very accurate to real world and it fits well in a frame. Perhaps it's my fault expecting more while knowing the size. I guess the price made me expect more. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hubbard Scientific 3D World Ranger Map | A True Raised Relief Map - You Can Feel the Terrain | Vacuum-formed Molded | 36'' x 24'' | Detailed Topography - Hubbard Scientific United States Classic Raised Relief | A True 3D Map You Can Feel the Terrain | Vaccum-formed Molded Map | 36'' x 24'' | Detailed Topography - US Hydrological Map | Map of United States Rivers & Basins | 36” x 24” on Premium Paper | Incredible River Detail, Beautiful Color Palette | Great Gift for Anyone Who Loves The Water | Ships Rolled --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.au/products/579160582-3d-world-raised-relief-map-topographic-wall-map-feel-terrain](https://www.desertcart.com.au/products/579160582-3d-world-raised-relief-map-topographic-wall-map-feel-terrain) --- *Product available on Desertcart Australia* *Store origin: AU* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
