Oxford Reading Tree Story Sparks: Oxford Level 7: Astron

I have read many fairy stories to my nieces over the years and for some reason this one moved me deeply and brought me to tears. The first time that's ever happened! My nieces love it too and were very amused that it made me tearful. Its so beautifully illustrated and the story is so very touching. I am going to buy a whole lot of them to give to all the little girls and boys I know. I would highly recommend it!

As a fan of the Oxford Reading Tree series, I was intrigued by this new title. It is a wonderful story about a little alien who gets lost in space, and when it looks like a young astronaut could help him, the story builds up and it is the alien who ends up helping the astronaut. Children will enjoy this book and looking at all the spectacular illustrations, taking them a magical, imaginative adventure. For teachers it gives children the opportunity to retell the story and talk about their thoughts about the plot. Worth looking into.
