This is a beautiful high quality helmet. Fits great and looks great with my new black harley-davidson fat boy.

Product was too small. Didn’t match sizing chart i used.

Excellent quality shell and lining. I have a big head and the XXL fits me well. Very happy with this classic 3/4 helmet.

Nice snug fit which is good, huge outside dimensions, but that's necessary to provide protection I'm looking for.I'll send in an updated review next time I fall off my bike!

Good looking, well made. Hey, if you don't want to have a real helmet, and are more worried about how you look in a mirror - mushroom head haters need not apply - you aren't paying attention: We only get one head. Protect it. It's a tight fit but I'm sure it'll break in, and you don't want a loose helmet. For the price, and it being a Bell, I'm very happy with the helmet.As an update, all helmets should fit you snugly. I put on a knit hat and then the helmet, wore it for maybe 15-20 minutes in the house, took it off and the knit cap off, and put the helmet back on. It felt broken in already like I'd worn it for many rides! So, if you think it's too tight, try that simple trick and maybe it will help you break it in a bit before you even ride. It's winter here so that's why this occurred to me.

A lot of reviews stated, that these particular helmets are more agreeable to a rounder shaped head. I liked the look and my head is more of a roundish shape, so I took a gamble. Results are mixed. It does fit, but it is not the most comfortable helmet right out of the box. I have a Shoei and another Bell that fit well and have comfortable padding. The padding on this is somewhat stiffer and applies a noticeable pressure on my forehead. This may relax in time as the helmet breaks in, at least it’s what I am hoping. I wanted an open face option for the warmer weather. Time and use will tell.

I found this helmet to fit well with high quality. Well worth the money. It is a bit bulbous; looking for protection not entering a fashion show.

Maybe folks that are worried how they "look" should be doing fashion shows or designing clothes. It seems a significant % of the Harley crowd are worried about appearance first, then riding. I'm a rider with over 100k miles and 4 cross country trips. For too many years I was not so smart and I wore a "dot" brain bucket. The brain bucket was comfortable, but the wind noise and buffeting were high; still, I put up with it. After an accident, I was commanded by the boss not to ride - our dog died 6 weeks ago, and the "no ride" decision was reversed to deal with his loss. Last weekend I took a 200 mile scoot and realized the bucket would not cut it anymore. I bought this Bell helmet and since have been on a 60 mile highway ride and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Much less hectic now with less wind noise and buffeting (no windshield) and a smoother ride for my noggin. I don't care what I look like with the helmet on. This is an ideal helmet for old school riders that are used to brain buckets and want to get into a simple upgrade. It is comfortable! The quality is plenty good - I am able to sneak my shades on with the helmet on - I feel a little smarter for wearing a proper helmet. At 60, I'll take the protection and let others worry about how they look. This is a relative review though....if someone is going from a simple brain bucket to this Bell Custom 500, you will get an excellent improvement in wind noise and buffeting not to mention much better protection in case there is an accident.

El diseño es muy bonito y la manufactura se siente de calidad.Tiene un aspecto negativo que me parece importante y es que las almohadillas internas son muy anchas y el ajuste se siente raro.Otra cosa es que tengo cinco cascos distintos y en todos soy talla LEste simplemente viene muy reducido.Se lo voy a dejar a mi novia porqué es muy incómodo para usarse día a día.
