I'm a true chocolate lover! My favorite is dark chocolate. So when I saw these I had to try them. They come very well packaged in a nice giftable box with each bar wrapped in gold foil in their own individual boxes. Each box has the expiration date on the end. You will get two of each flavor. I liked the way you can easily brake off a small, medium or large portion of the bar. I really enjoyed the different flavors that get more in-depth as you get higher in the percentage of chocolate. This is more of a hard chocolate that slowly gets creamier and smoother as it melts in your mouth. My favorites were the 60% Dark Mint choc. that had a slight crunch to it and the 75% Extra Dark Choc. Keep in mind as you get higher up in the percentage of Dark chocolate the stronger the taste, "kind of like a strong coffee does" and it will not be as sweet, but they are still very smooth, just more intense. This would make a great gift for anyone that loves chocolate, especially the dark. Giftable, nice presentation, wonderful flavors. I'm happy with them. Now, if you'll excuse me......I'm going to go have a piece of chocolate with some coffee.

Chocolate bars are very small, not the regular Venchi size. Wanted to give them as gifts, but they look like a joke.

Forty dollars is a lot to spend for 10 ounces of chocolate, but this gift box will really impress the recipient. The box itself is high quality and sealed in protective plastic wrap. Inside, eight 1.23-oz boxes of chocolate -- two each of four varieties -- are carefully packed in a bed of decorative paper shreds. Each small box is easy to open and inside is an elegant gold-wrapped and shaped chocolate bar of the stated variety. The very 3-dimensional shape of the bar makes it easy to slice off small portions for unhurried enjoyment.The gift box arrived undamaged, in great shape, in an Amazon shipping box. A freshness date one year into the future appeared on a label on the plastic wrap. I've tried just one of the chocolate flavors so far -- the 60% dark mint -- and it's definitely good and had the taste and feel of a very premium chocolate. I expect to really enjoy the rest of it and the other bars as I slowly gift them to myself as treats over the next week or two.

These Chocolate bars come in a very nice presentation box and are ready to gift. The box includes 4 different varieties of chocolate bars with different concentrations of cacao and flavors. There are 2 of each variety making 8 total bars. The chocolate bars are very good and contain quite a bit more fat than I am used to, which gives them a smoother feel and texture in the mouth. I really enjoyed the darker chocolate variety more than the milk chocolate. The price is a bit high for the amount you get, but considering the nice packaging, that makes up for it. Overall, I really like this chocolate and think it would make a beautiful gift.

Venchi chocolate bars are excellent! This beautifully packaged gift box comes with four varieties, and each bar is silky smooth with rich, decadent flavor. My husband, who grew up eating exclusively Hershey’s chocolates, gravitated toward the milk chocolate bar, but I thought the dark chocolate bars were the best. There is so much flavor in each bite and the bars are not at all gritty. I would happily buy these again.

This chocolate doesn’t really melt in your mouth which was weird. It kind of crumbles and really was pretty bitter.

This is very good chocolate, in a nice variety of milk, dark mint, extra dark, and extra extra dark. The bars are a good individual size, and the design of the bars themselves is unique, with raised break off pieces that re different sizes and shapes. Makes it kinda fun. The bars come wrapped/sealed in foil, and each in their own uniquely patterned box, within a larger gift box on a bed of navy blue crinkle paper filler. I would definitely give this as a gift to a chocolate lover in my circle. My only comment — not really a complaint, but a note — I think the gift box is a little big for the contents. The box measures about 10”x7”x3”, but the bars if compacted together measure 8.5”x5.5”x1”. For shipping or traveling, smaller boxes are nice!

One of life's little luxuries!Especially suited to people who prefer dark chocolate.Comes in a nice box nested in paper shreds, suitable for gifting.I feel the pricing is a also extravagant, but sometimes a little self indulgence is worth it!
