I was not looking to spend a lot on an old trailer. So I bought this plug, only to find it is high quality plug.

I cannot attest to its long term durability yet. However so far, it was easy to install, it seems durable, the color makes it easy to find and plug in in the dark, as well as make sure it’s not left in the dirt or left dragging. Also the cover for the plug is a nice touch that so far I’ve made sure always gets used.

When I installed an Equalizer hitch on my trailer, the 6 ft cable was not long enough to reach the receptacle on my vehicle. I chose this primarily because of its color. I like the fact that it is yellow and has a substantial contrast to the black frame of the trailer. It seems to be well made and well assembled. I also like that it has a cover for the plug as well. The only thing I would consider to be lacking are the plastic hold Downs at each cable opening. I prefer metal instead of plastic. But this is a very small issue. I definitely recommend this junction box, cable and plug assembly.

I wire all my trailers according to the standard which means I had to rewire the junction box accordingly because the colors for rv plugs are different than the standard. No big deal. Durable cord and the box looks good with multiple configurations of how you want wires going in/out of it.

Installation was easy for “traditional” trailer wiring.

The interior wire retention strap is plastic. One was broke when it arrived and I broke another one. The end with plug pulled out of the plastic. I replaced it with a different brand that was black and had metal straps.

I bought this for a new trailer build and found this on overstock. Fantastic price and the wiring is quality. The pins and wire colors match perfectly to the 7-pin on my F-150. The junction box is an average plasticky feel but the mounting studs are solid.
