Excellent crossbow. But the stock string has broke on both with under 30 shots. The accuracy on this is excellent with 100 yards shots. I had added a bear speed scope on one. Im a novice this being my first year using crossbows. And I'm able to do 2 inch groups at 100 yards with the provided bolts....

Shot less than 10 times and strings break hitting me in the face. Brand new this shouldn’t happen!!!

I purchased this crossbow and left it in its original package for over a year. 2 years later I got it out to practice. Got it sighted in with less than 10 shots. Went hunting the next day cocked it back and less than a minute the limb snapped causing a bunch of damage. I sent a warranty request over a month ago then another one and have yet to hear from bear. This was my 3rd bear bow purchase probably the last.

So far the bow it self is great, fast and fairly quiet. It is a hudge improvement from the old crossbows. But i only have 2 complaints fist is it was suppse to come with a 5 arrow quiver it did not it came with a 4 arrow quiver. Second is really more preference the scopes recital. The crosshairs dont cross so you dont get an exact pin piont and it only go's to 50 yards if you use stock arrow weight. I got heavier arrows and my max scope rang was 37 yards. But i have the bear x scope on its way. Over all i would recommend this product so far. Also the company bear seems to have the best costumer service even just to ask questions about the product and have the best warranty.

For every crossbow someone always has something to complain about. This bow is solid. For the amount of power it has to offer, of course there might be some drawbacks. Every product sold, there's always a couple of lemons out there. All my shots have been accurate and deadly with this crossbow. Bear is a trust worthy company with years and years of experience. Don't let the guys that bought a lemon alter your decision. Buy this crossbow for power, accuracy and quality...

Just unboxed my new Constrictor expecting a 5 bolt quiver as advertised only to have a 4 bolt quiver in the package.UPDATE: Amazon gave me a 60 dollar credit for sending the wrong quiver. I was ready to shoot my bow, I cocked it and fired it one time, the second attempt to cock it, the sled broke in half. I went to a local bow shop. They said it was a common problem with the original sleds. He gave me a new one at no charge and said Bear had sent him replacements for when that happens. So far the bow ( BEAR Constrictor) shoots like it should.

This crossbow is amazing, light weight, great features and lighting fast. Scope was easy to get dialed in and was just 3" low and 2" left out of the box. I did replace the scope that came with it with a Bear X Speedcomp scope with goes out to 100yrds. The pictures are at 50 and 70yrds using the Bear X Speedcomp scope and the scope view
