Not what I wanted.
I ordered a bloodstone egg. I got a stone egg. No "blood". Only 2 tiny specks of red on the bottom. So small you can't see them without looking closely. When on the stand you can't see them at all. I ordered this for display. Not very impressive to look at.

Beautiful stone
The photo made it look bigger, but they did write 2 inches. The stone is gorgeous. It took a long time to get here from China, but it was worth it.

Love my opalite egg!
Love my opalite egg and stand. Bought it for my granddaughter for Easter because she was fascinated by one I had. The shiny surface is very smooth and free of imperfections. The opalesque interior is beautiful with the light coming through it. It was exactly the size I wanted, which is comprable to a very small chicken egg.
