Hi-Tech KSG 4 Notch Barrel Nut Remover Tool

Originally purchased the wrong tool (16 slot) from another company and they told me they discontinued their 4 slot models and told me to "google it". So, I discovered Hi-Tech's tool and was immensely relieved that I could continue my upgrade plans for the old KSG.The part arrived very quickly and is very well made. Popped it on my ratchet and within minutes the barrel nut was off and I could install my choke adapter. I'm looking at a bunch of other Hi-Tech products and they look great.

worked as advertised, you do need a long handled ratchet (picked one up at HD for about $16) and you do need to put your shoulder into it. Ended up putting it on the carpet and using my knee to stabilize the KSG I was able to put my body weight on the ratchet and the barrel nut popped right off. I actually bought a competitor's model first online and that one kept slipping off, this one stayed right on.

Must have for your KSG tool box. High quality and perfect fit. Made adding a muzzle brake that much easier. I ordered the 4 notch by mistake and the company caught and corrected my mistake so I was shipped the correct 6 notch.

Always wanting to save a buck for more ammo, I tried everything else in my weapons kit to get the barrel nut off my KSG, but not even my gunsmith brother could get it off -so had to order one of these. It came quickly and well packaged. It fit perfectly and with just a zap of an air impact wrench, the barrel nut flew off like it scared to stay on the gun. The impact tool caused no damage and was really the simplest way to get the nut off. I shouldn't have to say it, but always remember to clear your weapon and have it buddy checked before attempting any weapon repairs. If you have a KSG, you are going to need this excellent tool for proper weapon maintenance or to replace your muzzle break.Safe Shooting and Happy Trails your way..........

Good product but over $30 for a socket? Plus you might have to rent an impact driver PLUS you have to buy your barrel breach you want to add on, that's a bit steep to simply make your gun look a little cooler but all in all, price was my only problemWas able to make a simple high tork wrench and was able to turn barrel nut with that, a hammer and some man power, no power tools needed for me BUT I had the keltec ksg pinned in between my legs and it felt like I was about to bust the plastic handle off... probably best you get an impact driverGood product,

Great product, works as advertised, but that's not even the good part. Buy from these guys. Good products and great customer service. I wish they sold more of the tools that I use so I could buy from them.

Well made tool. Fits the 1/2in drive on air impact wrench without a problem. It took about two minutes to remove barrel nut on my KSG and replace it with a muzzle brake. Don't try doing the work without impact wrench, or you run a chance of buggering up the works.

Great tool. Tried looking around for the cheaper antenna socket you can get from Matco and modify it but had no luck with dealer and can't find on the internet. Opted to buy this socket and I'm glad I did. It fit perfectly and did not leave a scratch. I would highly recommend it.
