CasioMens Quartz Watch

I don't think you can go wrong with the Casio brand watches.I know it's not like Omega but hey this has its own purpose and it serves very very well.Hardly ever gives me any trouble so I love to wear them whenever I go out for outdoor activity.

first, i bought this watch over the ae1000 because i like things that are more expansive (but cheap enough to replace)the watch it self seems to be good quality, the silver parts are metal and not crappy plastic, the 3 screens aren't fakes, the one to the left is seconds (fill up, half for 30, quarter for 15, etc) and the middle one is a miniature digital-analog screen, which is has an unique design. the left screen is for the on/off (alarm, sig, mute).the watch's interface is 4 buttons, although all are digital buttons (meaning the light button is actually part of the control interface, and not just the light) speaking of which, the light can be programmed to hold for 1 or 3 seconds.the time-zone feature can be set to 4 cities for quick access, (pressing button 4)the alarm can be set to 5 different times (think of it as 5 alarm clocks, each set to a certain time)the watch also features 12/24 hour times (eg 10:00pm or 22:00)the watch uses CR2025 batteries, which can be changed by screwing(Philips screws) off the back, as to prying it off or using special toolsthe control system is hard to understand, but after half an hour of messing around, i figured it out and have memorized it.

This is second one I have owned. Great watch.

i really like the watch it allows for keeping track of time in various parts of the world which is kinda kewl i suppose and as far as looks it looks great. no complaints there, however, the backlight is pretty weak and lights up most prominently in the corner from which it emanates. this is a very minor issue so no big deal. it still gets the job done. 4 stars all the way for a nice looking and inexpensive time piece to add to my collection.

Battery died within days.

It held up nicely and has been a companion for some years now. Like it alot and is a watch to trust even under the most extreme conditions. Highly recommended!

Superb value for money and a genuinely quality looking watch. The band is wider than most and the dial surround is actual metal rather than the 'metal looking plastic' used on the AE1200 etc. Definitely a noticeable step up in build quality.World time, countdown, stopwatch, 5 alarms, 200m water resistance as well as some nifty features I haven't seen on other Casio such as the option to mute the beep when flicking menus and the ability to alter the duration of the backlight.The little panel on the top left fills a bar each 10 seconds, scrolls up when the stopwatch is running and down when the timer is counting down. It also does a little flow animation with each menu change. The top centre is analogue time including seconds which is a little hard to read but looks very cool.The digital time display is larger than most and super easy to read at a glance.I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants a quality made, chunky Casio with all the features but who doesn't want to pay the premium for a G-Shock or adorn their wrist with an ugly Pro-Trek.I think it's an absolute peach!
